Dark Flame is a young unicorn stallion who works as the local blacksmith and has protected his home village of Stonewall from constant dragon raids, earning him the title, Dragon Slayer. But when a dragon thought to be a myth attacks, Dark is left the lone survivor and loses consciousness during the fight against the mythical dragon. When he awakens, he finds himself in a hospital with a part of his memory missing, a few bodily changes, and six mares who have questions for him.

Now trying to rebuild his life, Dark will learn about his new body, try to regain his lost memories, and attempt to live a new life of peace apart from his old life of near constant fighting and survival. Though if only it were that easy. New friends will be made, secrets revealed, enemies both new, old, and supposedly dead will rise, a love will blossom, and a ghost from Dark's past will threaten to destroy what little left he holds dear to him.

This is my first fic, and any constructive criticism or advice would be appreciated in helping improve my writing, and in turn, the story itself.

In the convention, a guy wanted to get a gift for Halloween, but ends up getting a different one instead. Needless to say, he buys it and not realizing the danger he got himself into. Meanwhile in the modern days of Equestria, small groups of hybrids and humans were in slavery breeding camps & cities when there once peaceful Haven Hybrid city back then has fallen from being caught in the middle of a ruthless war. Unbeknownst to the superiors, two children a hybrid and human are in the ruined city, praying for the ancient gear wielders to help save them and avenge the Haven Hybrid city. After the children left, they didn't know there wish came true as a portal opens up in the center ruined city, revealing a red dragon hybrid knight.

An ordinary person has tragically lost his life during his time of being in an unwanted city. Since then, his soul's been reincarnated for not one time, but sadly 10 times of each bodies as his unfortunate life grew worse and worse, including of dying at the young age. Before his tenth body would die from a cruel death, an unexpected ally has saved his life and flung him to a ritual portal. Hoping this poor soul can finally find peace for the first time instead of whatever hell he's been through. Although, how long will his peace last when his dark horrifying past would soon arrive in Equestria?

The Green Lanterns, guardians of all life in the galaxy. Hal Jorden, Kyle Rayner and John Stewart are some of the most well known Green Lanterns to this day. But there are many Lanterns out there, each with their own story to tell. This is the story of a dragon who gained the power of a Lantern and how he grew from a simple housekeeper to a hero that would one day fight the greatest of evils. But green is not the only color that is in Equestria at this time. For just as there will be the brighest of days...there must also be the blackest of nights.

Due to the many different stories and different ways the powers can be interpreted, I will be doing my favorite versions of the powers.

Take a deep breath, then exhale. Now open your eyes. You seem to be in control. But does your body truly obey your every command?

Feed your pet, or your plant, or watch someone else do the same if you have neither. Did it ever feel wrong to be in that position of dominance?

Stop next to a busy intersection. Now imagine yourself walking right into it. Is there a world out there where you did just that?

Escape the confines of your role in existence for a minute or two. Notice how you feel as everything around you instantly becomes meaningless. How could someone in your position – a deity to your own people – attempt to cope with such an idea?

Submerge yourself in darkness. Let your mind paint the world around you, then wonder why it almost always results in a threat. Why should the fastest flier there ever was be afraid of that which they can't even see?

You've always known about these things. All it takes is to be reminded of them...

On one bright Sunday morning, Twilight Sparkle and her friends suddenly find themselves struggling with the very same questions. An experiment gone wrong, a stray thought during a field trip, and even a simple afternoon tea with one's dearest sister manages to set the minds of these ponies down a dangerous path, one which could easily lead to their doom – not to mention that of all others.

Years of ostracisation, abuse and torment have taken its toll on Midoriya Izuku, seen as a freak of nature for not having a quirk in his world where superpowers are the norm. When his idol, the Symbol of Peace and Japan's number one hero, All Might, destroys his dream of following in his footsteps, it proves too much.

Broken and seemingly beyond repair, Midoriya follows his tormentor's advice, and throws himself off the roof where All Might foolishly left him, embracing death and the hope of a better second life.

That would have been the end, if it wasn't for cosmic forces intervening.

Now thrown into a world where magic is the norm and talking ponies are the main species alongside mythical creatures thought to only exist in fantasy novels, a new life begins for Midoriya. (Though he would appreciate it if everypony would stop bowing to him wherever he went. He might have a horn and wings, but that doesn't make him royalty, for Celestia's sake!)

Starting afresh might be tough, especially without his hands, but with new friends by his side, Midoriya is willing to take up the challenge. Plus, magic and flying do seem like fun activities anyway, as well as apple-harvesting, and ogling a strong, attractive stallion of few words on the farm.

This is his story, of a new beginning, and how he became the greatest hero Japan had ever seen through the power of friendship and love.

But in all the hustle and bustle of party preparations, a lone traveler slips into town, a young man with business concerning Twilight Sparkle. What that business is remains to be seen, but you can be sure Ponyville won't make it easy for him.
After all, where would be the fun in that?

As Kamina drew his final breath and closed his eyes one final time, he knew then that even his fighting spirit could not hold off the end that greeted him. He hoped that Simon would soon learn to truly believe in himself and find his way without him, as the sound of rain pattered on his own mech Gurren was the last he heard before darkness surrounded him.

And he told himself that he accepted that.
