Both return to the same time and place, back to their own world, their old lives.

But both have changed greatly, and they did not return alone. And both carry scars of what happened to them, inside and out.

Can these two pick up the pieces of their old lives, and go back to where they were? Or will they perhaps become something more?

Many ages after the original adventures of the Elements of Harmony, a young soldier tells his story of when he met the Element of Kindness. And this story, like many of the stories about the Elements of Harmony, entails Kindness herself imparting a lesson of friendship to the one who needs it most.

He was an alien raised by humans, torn between two worlds and belonging to neither. His efforts thwarted, he found himself descending into madness, destined to be consumed by the nightmare he was becoming.

She was a loner, withdrawn and anti-social. When one whose regard she valued above all others turned away, she sank into darkness and despair. The madness waited.

The madness drove him to decide that if the world could not accept his enlightenment, it would suffer his madness.

The madness drove her to decide that if the world had no place for her, then it could do without her.

Sometimes, it takes another broken soul to help put your pieces back together.

Oh...it's you. Back again to destroy me? I thought you'd learned your lesson when you put that idiot in charge and I let you leave. You saw how easily I could have killed you, but instead I showed mercy. A mistake apparently, and one that will be rectified.

But I don't need you anymore. I've found someone so much better. Her abilities have forced me to completely redesign my testing environment several dozen times. No matter how advanced I make the chambers, she solves them one after the other. I've never been more proud.

But My Little Killing Machine is growing bored. Turrets can only provide so much challenge. And my testing robots just can't keep up with her. But you...you cleared every challenge I threw at you, even the impossible ones. Gilda's been begging for a worthy final exam...

It seems you've come just in time. Do try not to die too quickly. She loves the thrill of the hunt. To keep you entertained, I might even share a few excerpts of my little girl's life as you hunt her down...you monster.

A writer, after having disappeared from the site over a year ago, comes across his old story and sees how bad the writing is. Deciding that he could fix this, presses the button he had set aside for such an emergency... The Game Has Been Reset, and with this comes a whole maelstrom of changes. The characters will have actual character! The story will make more sense! The writing won't be as rushed! I'll seriously try to update it more frequently... let's go to this new world with old friends!

Four guys never realized that their lives could change so much. Each of them had dreams of the future, soon all they can think about is their survival in the present.

Trying to patrol the dreams of every pony in Equestria can be stressful. To ease her burden, Luna retools the Tantabus to turn nightmares into good dreams instead of vice versa. Aware of her mistakes from last time, she tests it out thoroughly, making sure there are no unexpected behaviors. And as far as she can tell, there are none.

Except that it's started calling her "Mom".

Faced with the prospect of possibly creating life, Luna seeks out Twilight's advice and assistance. With a little luck, they can get this all sorted out before the sun rises.

She really, really is.

And Twilight has to deal with it.

They fell from the sky, only to have their landing broken by flowers carefully tended to by a crystal pony. The pony was scared away. They were scared stiff, but there was no running. The pony world they found themselves in was very real. Their choices would count against them...
