The town of Hollow Shades, the home of the bat ponies, is in a bit of a pickle, as of recently.

As common knowledge suggests, if there is anything bat ponies love more than the night, it is mangoes.

And boy, you better believe they love themselves some mangoes.

But even for them, this problem is a bit too... big for them.

Operation B.A.M. commences.

This is an entry for the 2017 writing contest of the Bat ponies and Thestrals Group.

There's a bug under my bed. Or at least I think it's a bug.

It says it needs to stay under there to hide.

I just hope it leaves soon. And doesn't eat me before then.

Becoming Dragon Lord has brought a wave of new responsibilities for Ember, none of which she enjoys. The first of these tasks are the formal negotiations with Equestria, which will either formalize peace between the two nations or else be the start of a deadly war. She's pretty sure it's going to be the former, but if she has to sit through another awful meeting, she may change her mind.

Spike offers her an alternative: visit the spa.

Twilight communicates linguistic predicament unto Princess Celestia utilising extremely simplified thousand entry lexicon. Jinkies! Yarn's description adopts theme opposing Twilight's quandry.

Just a silly little challenge I set myself where I had to adhere to only two rules:

1. I could only use the 1000 most commonly used words as dictated by the XKCD Simple Writer program. If that program allows it, I can use it.
2. I'm allowed to swap out any human specific words for pony ones e.g. pony instead of person, hoof instead of hand.

Rated Teen for a small amount of swearing, because of course swear words are commonly used.

In a miscommunication gone awry, Starlight Glimmer has killed Twilight Sparkle with a fork.

Luckily for Twilight, Starlight's already acquired a resumé in doing the impossible.

She's totally got this.
