This story is a sequel to Home Is Where the Hearts Are

In which Rainbow Dash gets in some number of minor quarrels (or "spats"), learns several new words, and gets hit in the face. Also somepony catches on fire, a train never seems to reach its destination, and Fluttershy is largely unaffected by the night's proceedings.

Features RD/PP/FS, R/AJ, and TS/Colgate, so turn back if you find any of that anathematic. Acknowledges that mutually consenting adults in committed romantic relationships may sometimes have sex with one another, but nothing graphic.

Princess Celestia will at last get a taste of Twilight Sparkle. No, not in that way! The whole Elemental Harmony Squad is involved... no, still not in that way!

Popsicles will be prominently involved... and again, not in a naughty way. The only naughty pony here is Luna.

Down a well-traveled side street off the lower Las Pegasus market, stands a proud building with a dignified brass plaque on the door that simply says "The Sex Shop." Everypony's heard rumors of what's inside.

Big Macintosh, as the Chief of the Ponyville Fire Brigade, is in charge of training prospective recruits for their noble community service. This time, the recruits are a bunch of young stallions who hope to do their little town proud. They're a little rough around the edges, but that shouldn't be a problem.

So, of course, it turns into a problem.

This would be the day the regular fire brigade is unavailable to fight fires...

Sepia Tock, the clockmaker of Ponyville constantly being confused with the fictitious Doctor Whoof, finds himself in an awkward situation when he loses his closest friend.

Celestia makes sure to surround herself with the most competent staff
in all of Equestria, but when they go too far in her service, she takes
things into her own hooves.

[One-shot] Sapphire Shores demanded a special kind of lace for her dress to the Grand Galloping Gala, a style which you may only use if you get personal permission from its designer, an extremely picky frontier pony from Stitchtown, the fashion capital of the wild west. This sets Rarity on the course of an adventure which tests both her physical limits and her skills as a designer. If she plays her card right, she may even save her own town.

What if the villains were allowed to win without a fight? Would all of their plans bear them the fruits they so desired?
Probably not, especially when their royal adviser is Twilight Sparkle.

Before Twilight, Pinkie came to Ponyville and changed the lives of all the residents, hopefully for the better.

What, exactly, did happen during those arduous first days?

Leaving the farm with no plans, no money and, worst of all, no baked goods, how does Pinky 'settle' into her new life of love, laughter and the eternal search for the perfect pastry?

Ponies expect certain things from a mysterious shop that appears at the end of a lonely side street, and Old Gob does his very best to provide that experience. The candlelight flickers, a thick layer of dust coats items of dark and fantastic powers, and the door creaks ominously as ponies enter and leave with their purchases to discover the costs and rewards. Of course, sometimes the costs outweigh the rewards.

They certainly did for Twilight Sparkle and her friends. So when they manage to get to the shop right before it closes and disappears, they aren't going to leave until they get a refund.
