But not all is well on Sweet Apple Acres. Due to Discord's... well, Discord... Dash ended up the one set to carry the future Zap Apple, which now threatens her Captaincy of the Wonderbolts.

It's bad enough that the undead black sheep of the Apple clan is living and working on the farm, but now Rainbow has to give up the dream job she's been working for all her life!?

Sunset Shimmer has returned from the Mirror Universe in order to work with her friend and mentor, Princess Twilight Sparkle, now the Ruler of Equestria, on a personal project, only to be waylaid by the announcement that her other friend, Starlight Glimmer, is soon to give birth. What a happy occasion!
