Twilight Sparkle has been reclusive ever since Celestia and Luna inexplicably left Equestria. Her closest friends try to find a way to get her to open up, but their meeting is interrupted by the Map suddenly calling to all five of them to solve a problem. As they gather in the Map room, a flash of light transports the mares to a familiar, yet greatly changed Equestria... far, far in the future!

Twilight and her friends are sent by the Cutie Map to retrieve a foal in need. He claims to have been formerly a legendary creature known as a human. They don't really believe him. With no home or family, they bring him back to Ponyville.

Twilight tasks her friends to personally teach Anon the magic of friendship but Anon seems more interested in aggravating them. Will Twilight and her friends be able to reach Anon or will he end up in Tartarus?

Over the years, Equestria has faced many threats of all shapes and sizes. Perhaps it is unsurprising, then, that Princess Celestia would eventually reach the end of her rope and become one herself. If she is not stopped, it could mean the end of Equestria as we know it.

Thankfully, Twilight Sparkle has a plan.

I had kind of fallen off of the My Little Pony train after the series had come to a close, and the next generation had moved it. It only made sense, right? Many people would simply start to move on once new material started to come out, leaving behind only a cult following to continue privately.

However, that past obsession came back to slap me in the face with its royally ordained hoof.

I was now Princess Argent, an evil variant of Princess Luna that only appeared in... I'm not even sure if she made an appearance in the comics. My memory of the series has faded too much to be of any actual use...

Which makes it all the worse that I'm face to face with a pre-fall Luna...

Well, might as well see if I can help a sister out, right?

When a conversation with her school principal turns towards the topic of families, parallel universes, and the coincidences surrounding both, Sunset Shimmer lets slip a little bit too much personal information. This in turn leads her to learn that Celestia's got quite a temper when it comes to her well-being.
