An object of unknown origins crash lands in the no-pony's land between Equestria and Gryphon territory. Princess Luna and Twilight Sparkle race to beat the Gryphons to the crash site, but discover more to the crash than they originally thought.

Equestria has appeared in the North Pacific, and the first thing that greets this new land is an American bomber, carrying a very special cargo, falling out of the sky. Now the race is on between the two superpowers to prove the justice and superiority of their two divergent ideologies in order to claim the prize, an entirely new nation.

How will Equestria fare in the playground of giants?

Fluttershy has always felt the most comfortable with her wall-eyed friend, Derpy. Every morning they secretly go for a fly around Equestria, and Fluttershy could relax, not be constantly judged by her friends on her fears or flaws. The two mare friends were inseparable. But lately Derpy has been distant, as if something has been bothering her. Now she is missing, somewhere in the skies of Equestria, and only Fluttershy cares enough to find her.

"My name is Rick Gärtners, and I write this diary to whomever comes across it. I am a thirty-eight year-old male with no spouse, but that's irrelevant right now. If you do happen to come across this, note for what you're about to read is a record of my life's history; day by day, month by month, and year by year. But never will you expect what's written in this forgotten journal. So sit a while, my readers, as you'll see how being shown to "kindness" can change my malevolent life... forever."
