[2nd Person Perspective]

"Look out for number one."

That was the way of life back in Clopton. A city where survival was a daily battle.

Having made a few too many enemies, you move to Ponyville with only a bag of bits, the tools of your trade, and a couple jackets to cover the scars you've accumulated in the past. You don't trust anypony as far as you can throw them, but can you mesh well enough into the little country town to support yourself?

It'd probably be easier without that colorful maned pegasus bothering you.

Warning. This story is OLD. Like, so old that it's from the time when you could have contradicting story tags old. Only reason I keep it up is for sentiment. Keep in mind that, in my mind at least, it is very bad and I would not recommend reading it. Read at own risk or check out some of my more recent projects.

You have always been a different pegasus since the accident seven years ago. Your view on the world changed. Being the son of an extremely smart and famous Scientist father and a rich fashion designer mother you often find yourself alone. You love to explore the forest, the mountains, as much as you can. You always push yourself to go farther and higher, where nopony has gone before. Your adventures were always your private escape from the world.

Until one day when your parents get you a job with the local weather patrol just before leaving on their respective trips. Your summer is about to get more interesting...

Told through 2nd person and 3rd person naratives.

Comet takes his job too seriously. Angel doesn't take anything seriously.

Comet joined to protect kingdom and princess(es). Angel joined for adventure and danger.

Comet isn't interested in mares. Angel can't stop talking about stallions.

Comet is a pegasus. Angel is a bat pony.

Together, this unlikely duo goes through life as Royal Guards from basic training to fully fledged guardsponies. Who knows? Maybe they'll even start to get along.

Twilight and Dash, upon discovering that the long awaited "Daring Doo 4" movie contains, eugh, Humans, decide to rent out A Nightmare Moon on Elm Street.

Of course all their friends are invited. There is absolutely no way any shenanigans could possibly ensue.

Spike loses a bet to Snips and Snails. The consequence? Ask Scootaloo out on a date. But what starts off as a frivolous punishment for the baby dragon ends up becoming much more rewarding than he ever expected.

You spent quite a bit of your time back home honing your flying skills, but an accident grounds you. Without a place to stay any longer, you move in with your cousin, who gladly takes you in. However, you take note of a mare in town, and you begin to wonder if there could be more to life than flying...

Sequel to The Color of Apples. Reading The Color of Apples isn't really necessary, but I do recommend it, as some events may not make sense without the context.

You're a fast-flying, teenage pegasus colt with dreams of glory! Having just transferred to a new boarding school in Cloudsdale, you're looking forward to meeting new friends, joining the wingball team, and finally hanging out with fellow pegasi. This year's going to be so awesome!

Except you're the only pegasus around without a cutie mark. And everyone already seems to think you're a total loser, before they've even met you. And your only friend can hardly stand up for herself, much less you. And you're convinced a certain rainbow-maned mare is out to ruin your life. Yep, awesome.

This is the story of your high school days at Wingbury Academy.

(2nd Person POV) Your childhood started out just like any other. You had friends, you attended school, you had a mother and father. It was all taken away from you. You have no recollection of your childhood, only the scene of a traumatic event. Losing all hope in recovering, you leave to a small, secluded town known as Ponyville, hoping to isolate yourself. You'll find out that all you needed was a little color to revive those memories.
