A short story about a walk and lunchtime. Twilight Sparkle finds herself eating at restaurants more with a mind buried in thought. She thinks as she walks, as she talks and as she eats.

A simple and unimpressive little tale I wrote in one insomniac session. Feel free to tell me how bad it is in the comments before forgetting about it completely.

I do not know what I was doing at the Everfree Forest that day. My friends do not see me anymore. My friends do not hear me anymore. I am alone.

You live on the outskirts of the Crystal City. You have a job. Every day, you go down to the gravel path under the railroad bridge and move crates from a full cart to an empty cart. A pony in a black suit watches you. For as long as you can remember, every day is the same. But today is different. Today, you opened one of the crates.

This is your story.

Ponies get older over time. They slow down. This is a part of life. But Rarity, Twilight, Applejack, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie can keep pursuing their dreams as they get older. Rainbow Dash can't. This is her last chance to be a Wonderbolt, and despite working her tail off, she's not getting any better. In fact, she's getting slower. She just wants things to be fair. She wants one last chance to achieve her dream.

She wants to be faster.

This is what happens when she gets her wish.

Rainbow Dash is the most epically winning pony there is. She wins so much, she had three epic wins before she even woke up. And with her best friend le Pinkie Pie, how could she ever possibly stop winning...epically?

Twilight thinks she knows how, and the answer isn't a good one. Will she be able to help Rainbow Dash before her epic wins become an epic... fail?

Over the course of a single day Lavender Breeze's life was destroyed. Regretting all the things she's lost, she longs for closure.

Then in her darkest moment, she comes face to face with the thing she hates the most, the thing she blames for everything that's happened.

Twilight Sparkle has a secret, one she's never told anypony, in fact, she believes that her secret is more shocking and terrifying than any known to ponykind. But little does she know that Celestia, Discord, and Tank have terrible secrets as well.

As secrets are revealed and bonds of trust shaken, will Twilight have the courage to reveal her darkest of secrets?
