Summer Sun Celebration is coming, and it is up to Princess Celestia's favorite student, an Earth Pony named Pinkie Pie, to supervise the preparations. Oh yes, there's also an ongoing rumor about Nightmare Moon's return, but who would worry about that you silly filly!

Princess Celestia sends her pupil (along her dragon sidekick Spike) to Ponyville where the Party Pony Extraordinaire will meet with five other ponies. Let's hope that nothing will interrupt the party, like a lunar ancient evil party crasher. Nah, everything will be just fine.

Spike finds himself in the middle of nowhere, and with no way of getting back home. For a journey this big its gonna take two, and Spike forges an unsteady partnership with a unlikely pony.

Embarked on a dangerous journey to reach his home Spike is gonna have to keep an ace up his sleeve, call some bluffs, and hope his companion hasn't stacked the deck in her favor. Tempers flare, teeth will be grit, and things will never be the same. Enough napping young dragon, it's your turn for an adventure.

Authors notes: The first chapter is super short (its also really awesome if I do say so myself) but the rest won't be. Promise. There will be some combat later on, but at the moment, it won't be super graphic, so again, dodging a bullet. The first 2 or 3 chapters will be a little sad/tragic, but its not the tone of the story, and its nothing to bad so they won't be tagged. The entire story will not be written like the first chapter. Lastly, as the story evolves tags are subject to change.

After the Grand Galloping Gala, Spike returns to Ponyville and continues as Twilight assistant. However, the connection with the Princess leaves them both wanting more. But with their duties to perform, such luxuries are few and far in-between. When can they meet again, and how will they go about it without raising suspicions?

Applejack has lately been feeling crestfallen and out of it. But when Spike stops by and offers to help her with her chores, she feels puzzled of what is happening. What exactly is going on?

Discord is once again loose, but after using his randomness to find some interesting information on some strange phenomenon in another world that has to do with an island and a bunch of humiliating events, the crazy spirit of disharmony and chaos comes up with a new, sick, twisted, disturbing plan that involves capturing 20 of the most popular ponies (and three non-ponies) and forcing them to play a new game while the rest of Equestria watches in horror (or most likely secret amusement and possibly envy of not being picked themselves).

What does the rotten host Discord have in mind for our 20 unfortunate selections? Well, looks like you'll have to wait and find out! Maybe, just maybe, if Discord is feeling generous, the winner of his new "game" will get a grand prize. Everyone pick a character to root for and let's get it on!

Upon eavesdropping on a conversation between Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, Spike discovers what his "true love" really thinks of him, and after reminiscing on his thoughts about it, he slowly begins to drift away from his friends. With sorrow and despair in his heart, Spike runs away from home, and runs into an old enemy that tries to help him out.

However, after realizing what she has done, Rarity begins to realize and discover that she has feelings for Spike after all, but can she save him before it's too late?

When Spike emerges from a long sleep, he finds himself with a new body... and wings. He never anticipated that he would find much more than just clouds in the sky.

Sometimes, even when two creatures seem like they are completely different in every way, they need but one thing in common to unite them forever. It is true what they say, friendship is love, just lacking wings.

As the years drew on, Spike's childish heart grew into that of a true adult, longing for the finer things in life; the finest things. He pursues his relationship with Rarity, but all does not go as planned.

Filled with anger and sorrow, Spike and Rarity fall away from one another. In his grief, Spike pursues new interests, and their friendship is in danger of never recovering.

But perhaps the truest words in life are these: you do not know what you had until you have lost it. Jealous and alone, finding no comfort in stallions she once loved, can Rarity reclaim her one chance at true love, before it is too late?
