The story follows a Human turned pony in Equestria. He knows nothing of the MLP universe and must learn to adapt to this new life. The Wonderbolts are main characters in this.

The wheels of fate turn in mysterious ways. When a unicorn colt has an accident on the edge of the Everfree, nopony knows who he is. Assuming his brain was jostled by the accident, they ignore his absurdist notions of not being from this world, and not being a pony at all. However, when he is involved a terrible incident that threatens the lives of his only friends in the world—Ponyville's three most rambunctious fillies—their friends and family begin to pay more credence to his claims.

For Warren Ashland, the clock is ticking as a chain of events that was set into motion the moment he woke in Equestria comes to a vicious head. The time will come when he must decide whether he wishes to stand alone as a human in the Equestrian world, or give it all up for his newfound friends. His actions will shape the lives of those around him.

When a mishap causes two para-dimensional weapons to colide with one another, RED Team's Pyro is sent flying from the Team Fortress 2 universe into the alternate universe of My Little Pony, where he is almost instantly discovered by Lyra, who shelters him in her home.

Having him hidden in her small townhouse isn't easy; keeping him from setting things on fire, teaching him that not every cart that passes by is cause for alarm, and that blue ponies are not something to be suspicious of.

However, with Nightmare Night soon approaching, Princess Luna feels that there may be something more sinister riding on the coat tails of Pyro's grand entrance; the first human to ever set foot in Equestria some thousand years ago...

Though the events of Discord are behind them, Twilight still thinks about the spirit of disharmony. Thoughts kept to herself, she realizes that some of the things she does remind her of him...and how she DOES miss him. Thoughts kept to herself, hiding it from her friends and even the princess, Twilight wonders what could have been if they never had turned Discord into stone. Would he still have been trouble? Would he have been someone able to be compatible with in time? Even Twilight wonders if his cotton candy clouds were actually as delicious as they seemed!
