Cursed with silence, Vinyl Scratch (A.K.A. DJ PON-3) turns to music to express herself. However, through this curse she is also bound to Silere, a strange and cruel pony who appears only as a reflection of Vinyl. Princesses Celestia and Luna are in for quite a shock when they get a surprise visit from their own parents: The rulers of the galaxy itself, King Artemis and Queen Solianna.

They haven't visited Equestria in two million years, and are excited to see what a great job their little 'Tia' and 'Lu-lu' has done. Unfortunately, the rulers of the galaxy are a bit 'out of touch.' What will they think of Luna's temper tantrum 1,000 years ago? Or Celestia's humiliating defeat at the hands of a giant love-bug during the wedding?

And of course, what about their faithful subjects, especially Twilight Sparkle and her rather interesting companions? And what will the subjects think when they realize the creators of the galaxy are just a couple of wackjobs?

This story was written before the airing of Season 4, and as such it's full of non-canon stuff.

A short story about how Discord was defeated the first time, written to celebrate Halloween. It comes a bit late, I know, but still I hope you like it.

I had no proofreader for this one, so expect to find grammar mistakes, because English is not my first language. Feel free to correct me at anytime.

Princess Luna is sick and tired of her sister lording her 'Elements of Harmony' over her! She is an alicorn too, and she deserves six faithful subjects willing to do things she's seemingly capable of doing, but doesn't feel like doing! So she does what any princess would do; heads into her kingdom in search of a 'mane six' of her very own. She'll show Celestia that just because she's been on the moon for a thousand years, doesn't mean she can't recruit some loyal and steadfast ponies to do her bidding. Though, it may be harder than she originally anticipated.

Princess Celestia is a living legend, but much of her life is shrouded in mystery. Records have long since been lost to the decay of time, and the tale of her triumph over Discord has become a fable. The Princess's memory of the event has long since faded... or has it?

Her faithful student lending an eager ear, Celestia recounts the true story of a war-torn Equestria, the struggle against Discord, and the early years of her own life.
