There is a secret hidden spring on Sweet Apple Acres, and Rarity is happy to take full advantage of this for a little rest and relaxation.

But her friend Applejack has been under a lot of stress recently. It’s a shame she doesn’t know how to help...

Written as a bit of an experiment/self-challenge; I enjoy writing dialogue, so this story (as may have been inferred from the title) doesn’t have any.

Applejack and Rarity dated for years after high school, both remaining in Canterlot City as many of their friends moved away. Now Rarity plans for a very special date at Harmony, the most fashionable restaurant in the city. She's planned every detail to make for a perfect romantic evening, even down to Applejack's dress and hairstyle.

Applejack isn't so sure about that.

When an ancient Equestrian artifact suddenly tears a hole in time and space, Sunny Starscout gets the chance to meet her idol, Twilight Sparkle, for real! However, not only is Twilight shocked by the changes to the Equestria she loves, but Opaline's ever-present eyes see this as an opportunity to undo her defeat at Twilight's hooves. Twilight and Sunny must find a way to stop the mad alicorn if Equestria is to remain stable.
