After the Hivemind broke apart, most of us went mad with emotions we had never felt before. Newfound intelligence, free will, and actual clear thoughts. Those of us that could control these thoughts either went into hiding or lived as a strange form of vampires, eventually being burned at the stake or having a silver dagger run through their skull. I did neither of those. In fact, I envied the ponies I once consumed.

I wanted to be one of them.

On a request from Princess Celestia, Twilight Sparkle and the rest of the mane six explore an abandoned mansion located deep in the woods. While doing so, they unwittingly stumble across an enchanted mirror that scrambles their DNA and pops out three brand new bouncing baby ponies. Hilarity and drama ensue as the mane six must cope with being suddenly thrust into motherhood, as well as protect their new foals from a dark god that wishes to use them for his own sinister gain.

On a dark night filled with even darker magics, an insane cult attempts to give Nightmare Moon a body and life of her own, utterly separate from Princess Luna. But, when the spell is interrupted by Celestia, something unexpected is created.

Now, a little black alicorn filly named Nyx finds herself living under the care of Twilight Sparkle, only to be haunted by memories and emotions from her past. Is she Nightmare Moon reborn or is she simply a doppelganger with a soul and mind of her own? Can Twilight Sparkle protect Nyx from those who refuse to see past her dragon eyes and black coat?

Or, will Nyx be forced to inherit the sins that may not even be hers and become the greatest evil Equestria has ever known?

Hopes. Dreams. Aspirations. They're what everyone survives, and even thrives, on. What happens, then, when hopes and dreams are dashed? When something so monumentally destructive and life-changing occurs, and dreams, hopes, even ponies' lives are thrown into turmoil, where can solace be found? Rainbow Dash's dreams come true, and fame begins to change her in more ways than she could imagine.

Have I always been loyal to my friends? No. There are things that they didn't know about me. Lots of secrets from the past that I've kept from everypony. I had a past full of disgrace, shame, and loneliness. Things that I wish had never happened. Only a few ponies know the truth. But I could only keep my past away for so long...

Discord returns from a long imprisonment in stone once more. He does this as Rainbow Dash faces a moment of weakness. Seeing an opportunity, he plots to destroy both her reputation, and her sanity, and step over the other five to take back the throne. Meanwhile, Rainbow Dash must wrestle with the idea of mentoring the flightless filly, Scootaloo, as well as dealing with nightmares created by Discord to break her down.

Rainbow Dash is the world's greatest flyer. Not only because she practices and trains so much she could wear out the Wonderbolts, but also because she has turned flying into her own personal therapy.

However, some feelings don't just go away on their own.

Some feelings, you can't outfly.

Twilight is excruciatingly confused about her friendship with Rainbow Dash. Why is Rainbow Dash acting this way, and even a better question... Why is she acting this way? What could it possibly be that is causing these feelings to surface?
