Spike is now a teenage dragon, and his love for certain white unicorn is stronger than ever, while she's not completely aware of her feelings, and has to fight to keep her little sister in line before a new disaster explodes. Although generosity may help keeping greed away, could also become a two-edged sword, and Twilight is worried about Ponyville being destroyed again as it happened three years ago.

Let's see. Gems? Check. Popcorn? Check. Twilight having a massive project that will keep her busy for hours? Check!

It looks like Spike is finally going to be able to give the library's dusty old television set some good use, what with the crate of old cartoons that came with it. But what's this? Why is Fluttershy on the cover of this one? And why does she have that look in her eyes...?

When Spike and his friends go on a trip to Daypony Beach, he's rescued from the sea by a strange filly. Despite having reservations about this mute pony, Spike and his friends welcome her into their group. However, the restless ocean--as well as the innkeepers warnings about the mysterious "ponies of the sea"--has everypony nervous, and when a nearby clan of dragons becomes involved, things go from bad to worse.

When Spike is rejected by the love of his life because he is a dragon, he’s willing to do whatever it takes to change that. So when a pony of questionable motives offers to change him into a stallion, Spike is more than willing to shake on it. However, there was one small detail that Spike overlooked: He must first find love as a monster; a beast of a dragon, within a year or he will be stuck like this forever… A beautiful Sparity based on the greatest love story ever told, Rarity and Spike learn that what they thought was beauty was only skin deep, and that true beauty lies from within.
