This is another in the “what if” series I started with the story "Regrets". Both tales are inspired from previews of the upcoming Series Finale of MLP:FIM. There is so much we don’t know about what happens to Flurry Heart at this moment in the cover shot released last week. That naturally breeds enough alternate universe theories to fill its own universe. This is one of them. Enjoy!

I know we know nothing about this scene yet. I just saw the way Fluttershy looks at Sombra and wondered what was going through her mind. That led to wondering about the others. When the episode with this scene comes out, it’ll be immediately be invalidated, I know. I regret nothing.

A great big thank you and shout-out to Askre for giving me ideas on how to extend Pinkie Pie's dialogue when it ran EIGHT WORDS short of 1,000, lol! Askre is a great King Sombra writer every Sombra fan should check out, but how he can manage that AND finds such ease in writing Pinkie Pie and her rambling dialogue not only confuses the hell out of me, but scares me a little as well.

Page Solaris has written about him all her life, picking up the enigma, the pieces where the show left off. As she nears her end, this has not gone unnoticed - and will not go unpunished.

Celestia and Luna have ruled in Equestria for over a thousand years. Their age along with the unbelievable power that they wield to move the sun and moon has caused most ponies to see them as gods.

But as powerful as they are, gods they are not. For the being that has arrived in Equestria has powers that can rival and surpass their own. He is a deity millennia of years old, a deity who commands the thunder and lightning with an incredible might and a hammer that can shatter the sun and moon.

And Celestia and Luna will learn that they are not all powerful. That they are not as mighty as they believed. They are not gods.

They are not Thor.

The heart. Such a mysterious source of power. Those with weak ones soon find their hearts lost to darkness. Those with strong ones have shown to unleash the most powerful of lights. But what makes a heart strong? What makes the darkness so attracted to it? I must know.

Twilight. Applejack. Rarity. Rainbow Dash. Pinkie Pie. Fluttershy. These six posses the strongest hearts in all of Equestria. They may show me the answer to my questions. But to unlock the secrets within them, I will need a key. A key that no one will miss if it vanishes...or perhaps, a key that no one knows to exist at all. I need a keyblade. I need her.

Xion will be based on her game and manga counterpart.

Mere months after retaking the Crystal Empire from King Sombra, Price Shining Armor discovers a secret about Cadence's past that is almost as bizarre as why King Sombra lost the Crystal Empire because of Discord, Shining Armor hates his new inlaws and the crystal ponies are laughing hysterically at their new Prince.

All is not funny, however as Princess Celestia seems to be in on the cover up. So soon after Queen Chrysalis's attempted takeover of Canterlot, Shining Armor struggles to come to terms with who his new wife is and needs to hurry before it tears their marriage and his trust in her apart.

I leave this note here in case my sister and I were wrong and there are others who survived. While I am doubtful there is anypony, if you did survive, read this carefully.

My sister and I are sorry. We could not protect you. The monster...the Maestro...was too powerful. Far more powerful than we could have ever believed. And because of our ignorance...our world is gone. Leaving only my sister and me.

But the Maestro is not finished. He has plans to do to others what was done to us. And though we may no longer have subjects anymore, our vow still stands as long as we draw breath. So we head off to a new world, a world where hopefully we can stop him this time.

But this won't end until either we kill him...or he finishes off the royal family.

This story is a sequel to The Emerald Dragon

Spike is a dragon who has seen many things. He has fought countless evils on Equestria and is one of the nations greatest defenders. He is a bringer of light. He is a Green Lantern.

Sequel to the Emerald Dragon, so I would recommend reading that one first. All characters are my interpretations of them, but their loosely based on GLtAS.

Chaos runs rampant in the night. Screams of those innocent that are caught by the grime and filth of the criminal are never answered. The guard cannot keep up with all the crimes being commited. But thankfully for them and all of the ponies that live in Equestria, there is someone who watches from the shadows, one that stalks the stalkers. A silent guardian that brings vengance to those who deserve it. And they will be needed more than ever, as a group seeks to unleash a great evils back into the land. And it will be a day that no pony can forget. But just as there must be a day, there must also be a knight.
