When the guards find a foal crying in the city streets, they bring him to Celestia's attention. Soon after, It becomes apparent he has fallen through every crack in Equestria's society. Feeling she has failed the colt, Celestia takes him into her own home.

Flim was never one to argue with Flam. In fact, if the situation had been any different, they might have been able to work it out. But, fate being the fickle thing that it is had other plans. After a heated fight, they split up. There was no going back, the bridge was burned and the damage done.

It soon becomes apparent that things are never as easy as they seem. Several failed attempts later, Flim is out of energy and ideas. Just when he's about to give up, a chance encounter with Applejack changes everything. Working beside the Element of Honesty was the opportunity he needed. If he could prove his sincerity to her, then nopony would question his desire for an honest life. But, as the days drag on, he realizes a truth that may just jeopardize everything. How can he prove his sincerity when he must constantly hide the truth?

This one has been a long time coming. An Honest Life takes place in the same universe as my long running story, What Changes May Come and runs parallel to This Cruel and Random World. There are some aspects from those stories in this one, but there's no need to read either to enjoy this one. Essentially the events are cannon until the middle of season 4.

Under cover of night, Inkie and Blinkie confront a trespasser. He sways their hearts and minds with promises of adventure and discovery, and with his help, they break open a sealed passage into the heart of the rock farm. Tracing the glowing ore veins deeper into the darkness, they plummet through a false sun into a pocket dimension whose architect is an abomination older than Equestria and a personal friend of the trespasser's companion.

Callidus is a Earth Pony. He always wanted to fly. To touch the sky like so many do, naive to the gift they have been blessed with at birth. But he will do it his way. And he doesn't care what he will lose to do it. But remember this, anypony who gets in his way will not live to regret it.

This is my first story in fimfiction so any criticism is not only accepted but requested. I will see if I can maintain consistency but I can not guarantee it.
There will also be a bit of gore but nothing to extreme.

As Twilight comes across another new book, she notices that there was a spell that had a peculiar outcome: nothing! She cant believe that this is true and wants to try it out. However, she needs someone to test it on...more specifically an irritated dragon, wanting to go to sleep.
