After working on a major project for the betterment of Equestria, Twilight Sparkle brings her work to her mentor and princess for approval and funding, and her proposal is rejected outright without explanation or sympathy.

Devastated by Celestia's refusal, Twilight tries to determine whether she has failed her work or her teacher - and wonders what her special status and talent is worth.

At the assault on Canterlot, she was a medic, but not for the Equestrians.
After the assault is concluded, a new struggle for the Changelings begins as those who survive must still find food and shelter.
Will the Equestrians simply forgive the Changelings for their assault on their capitol, and if so how bumpy a road is this going to become?

This story, and the Kirin Chronicles as a whole, are being rewritten and published as a new story due to the size of the adjustments.

It's Twilight Sparkle's coronation day. She's ready to go, all dolled up by Rarity, and the three Princesses await her okay on the spell. She nods. Their horns light, and a deep warmth spreads through her. She closes her eyes.

"Nn- Twilight!"

Her eyes open. Spike, running towards her. His claw brushes the magical aura surrounding her. A roll of thunder echoes, and he is thrown against the wall. The magic surrounding her rises in turmoil, battering and burning, and it's all she can do to stay awake. It ends with a snap, dropping her to the plush ground in a heap. The Princesses are crying, Spike is unconscious, and Twilight... Twilight is no longer a petty Unicorn.

But she's not much of an Alicorn either.

Takes place in Rainbowdoubledash's Lunaverse. It's time for Winter Wrap Up in Ponyville, and Representative Trixie has to take part. She wishes she could have stayed in bed.

Set in RainbowDoubleDash's Lunaverse. Trixie greatly underestimated the amount of paperwork expected from a Representative of the Night Court of Luna. At Lyra's suggestion she decides to hire an assistant to help her out around the office. She puts up ads all over town and gets ready to receive interviewees.

What could possibly go wrong?
