Princess Celestia, tired of the constant pressure that ruling a nation puts on her, decides to take a day off and let Luna take her responsibilities for a day, something the younger alicorn is more than happy to do. She disguises herself as a pink maned pegasus pony named Sunny Skies and decides to go walking around Canterlot without any supervision. Unfortunately for her, not all parts of Canterlot are as safe as the palace, and she finds herself at the wrong end of a gang of muggers, who decide to kidnap her for a ransom when they see how much money she has on her.

Luna freaks out.

Celestia thinks it's hilarious.

Mis-communication has started many a war, but in this case maybe calling it a war was too generous.

The "war" is over, Twilight has successfully orchestrated a bloodless end to the Griffons' aggression, but only now does she realize that there is more to winning than she had first assumed, especially against a nation that holds war as a central part of their culture...

Now Twilight must deal with the aftermath while facing a challenge she never anticipated: being seen as a conqueror.

This can be read alone, but I recommend reading the letter that started it all for a chuckle and a little exposition. This series of expositional one-shots can also give some additional world-building.

My name is Kadie, and when I was eight years old, my people, the griffins, went to war with the ponies of Equestria. My mother never wanted me to think about that, so she never talked about it. The Emperor told my father that he had to go off and fight the ponies, though, so I know that she thought about it a lot.

A few months after I turned ten, a messenger came into our town and told us that our emperor didn't want to fight anymore, so the ponies won, and we lost. Mother said that since we lived so close to our capital, we needed to go see the pony army meet our emperor.

I did not like that.

So, I also apparently made it into Twilight's Library on July 20th, 2014. Man, you guys must really like your sharkfics.

We all have to accept the consequences of our actions. Sunset Shimmer learns this when she decides to return to Equestria with Twilight Sparkle and face Princess Celestia's judgement. Knowing full well that she did something wrong, she expects to be punished. However, sometimes our punishments are not what we expect.

Sunset Shimmer is the most talented of all of Princess Celestia's students, so much so that the princess is her own personal mentor. After acing her latest test, she is certain she will be named a princess, so she has nothing to worry about when a new student named Twilight Sparkle enters Celestia's school, right?

When Twilight Sparkle slipped beneath the covers last night, everything had been fine. She had friends whom she loved, a teacher she adored, and a bright future ahead of her. But when she woke up, her blankets and quilts had been replaced by hospital gowns and padded restraints.

Everything is wrong and nothing makes sense; even her friends have changed. The doctors keep telling her that she is sick, that none of it was real and that it was all in her head. Yet she remembers a life far beyond the hospital walls. She couldn't have made it all up on her own. They must be lying… right?

Sequel to The Incredibly Boring and Uninteresting Adventures of Maud Pie and Boulder

Maud Pie's and Boulder's Adventures continue as they set out for Canterlot, but they are stopped by a certain rowdy bunch of dogs that love to have ponies sniff out gems for them. They take Maud captive(?) and force her to hunt for them, but can they handle the COMPLETELY UNPREDICTABLE Maud Pie?

This story is going to be even more boring and uninteresting than the last one, so be happy that it is currently on HIATUS.
