We all have a story to tell, even if we don't remember it.

What if one day, you woke to see,
Your hair was not what seemed to be?
Would you panic? Would you screech?
In Pinkie's case, yes to each.

Pinkie's mane is not so cute,
For on her scalp, something took root,
Fearing for life and to make things right,
She seeks the help of Ms. Twilight.

What will ensue and how will it end?
Just take a seat and read, my friend.

Fluttershy has found an ephemeral, a creature that will die if she stops looking at it. Determined to keep the creature alive, she begins to understand that she will need help to succeed.
But as Twilight says, it's impossible to succeed, as the ephemeral is meant to cease to exist. It is how things are meant to be.

A very complex idea in a short story that tries to deal with it in a very simple manner.

Twilight Sparkle's latest assignment is to make a new type of Mountain Dew, the popular magic-boosting drink for unicorns. Twilight's experiment works a bit TOO well, and two of her friends are accidentally turned into unicorns! Can they get back to normal, before things get out of hoof?

"Humans.... Quite possibly the most infuriating mythical creatures in existence. If you ever have the 'luck' to meet a Human in your travels across Equestria, then you must be careful. Humans are extremely powerful creatures, some would say more so than Celestia or Luna, they are also more unpredictable than Discord. They can help you in a tight spot if you're lucky, or play nasty tricks on you if you don't hold the Human's favor. In my time I've seen a Human give a filly pounds upon pounds of gold, and the same one turn greedy ponies into gold. The only one I ever have seen 'face-to-face' was in my earlier years, he helped me repair my wagon when it broke down in Everfree Forest, by fix I mean a whole new one appeared not ten feet away, and the only thing the Human asked for in return was a spindle.... But be warned, never anger a Human, a trick or two in fair game is fine, but if you ever manage to truly anger a Human...... you'll be part of the small number ever to meet non-existence." - Star-Swirl the Bearded.

A silly nonsensical story, not to be taken seriously. Some chapters are not connected to others.

"Celestia was confident. There was no reason she shouldn’t be. But the embarrassment against Chrysalis reminded her of one thing: Never underestimate your opponent.

Twilight has just read about a new spell, she thinks it will come in use and can't wait to show the her friends. But it backfires on them, causing the mane six to revisit with their foalhoods...
