Snails has a problem - he's been getting headaches, a lot of them, that keep him from sleeping. Trixie is quickly able to identify the problem: He isn't using enough magic, and it's building up. All Snails has to do is use more magic, and the headaches will go away. Of course, the Great and Powerful Trixie is more than willing to train a foal in the use of magic - after all, she's already training Dinky. What's one more?

More importantly will they be able to control their own natural tendencies long enough to make stories that are not only good but not doom the reader to complete mental destruction? Celestia, in an attempt to get her young nephew off his high horse, has Blueblood go outside and meet new ponies. While outside he bumps into a poster of nopony else but The Great and Powerful Trixie. Will anything come of this? Stay tuned and find out!

An alternate universe story, in which Twilight Sparkle was born a pegasus, not a unicorn. Because of this, she isn't Princess Celestia's personal student at the School for Gifted Unicorns, and she can't wield the Element of Magic. Can she still help save the world from Nightmare Moon? This was somewhat inspired by Rainbooms and Royalty, a story in which Princess Celestia picks Rainbow Dash to be her personal student.

Twilight Sparkle, becoming anxious at the upcoming Summer Sun Celebration, which she believes marks the return of Nightmare Moon, beseeches Princess Celestia to do something about it.

Celestia, however, has another, more important task for her; making sure that the Summer Sun Celebration goes off without a hitch. Every year, a different town is chosen to receive the honor of hosting the grand festival.

And the lucky city chosen this year, for this fateful holiday, is none other than the city of Manehattan...

Prince Blueblood's ascension to alicornhood had a rocky start, but he seems to have smoothed things out. Certainly, Celestia has been happier since Twilight Sparkle joined the royalty of Equestria.

However, due to misfortune and malady, Blueblood is flung across the cosmos to a strange land filled with bipedal creatures of unknown intent. He flees in fear, hoping against hope that help is on the way, but certain inhabitants of the new world are not so easily avoided. Only one mare can save him now, and she's nopony to be messed with.

While doing some cleaning in the library's basement, Twilight comes across an old, long forgotten board game. Deciding that it looks like fun, she invites her friends over for the night to give it a try. Unfortunately, this particular game might prove to be more of a challenge to the Elements of Harmony than anything they've faced before. For you see, in Diplomacy, the number one rule is: Never play this game with friends, or you may need to find new friends...

This has a sister-story named Games Ponies Shouldn't Play, which features the Lunaverse six instead. It isn't going to be the same story with swapped names; each group has different personalities so both games will be very different. I just couldn't decide which group of six would be more interesting, so I wrote both. I must hate free time...

And featured 1/29/15.... ten minutes after I updated with a new chapter....... Why don't I update this story very often again? Gonna have to fix that...

Octavia has always been a creature of habit, each morning she arises before dawn, plays for the rising sun and goes for a jog. It seemed a good idea to put her experience running to use in the annual running of the leaves competition, but when she finds that her friends have also entered she becomes worried that the competition may destroy their relationship.
