An afternoon working the Wonderbolt Reservists Race Day gets turned upside down when a sudden surprise rears its head, dragging a reluctant Bon Bon back into the saddle of Agent Sweetie Drops. With the help of her marefriend, Lyra, they leap into action to uncover the mystery lying beneath a—with little to go on, the potion-making private eye, Zecora, steps in when no pony else will to help a poor mare in way over her head. Will one lone zebra be enough to save Twilight Velvet from the darkest corners of Manehattan?

Exquisite Corpse Horse is a chaotic writing collaboration between members of Cafe Hay. This prompt's theme was "Reverse Course Horse" where the last chapter was written first with subsequent authors having to write the preceding chapter. Each author was only given access to the chapter written before theirs and a 200 character message. Results certainly varied.

Eight authors enter. One mess of a story leaves. Zero is put back on the "days since class was interrupted by some nonsense" sign, and Cheerilee breathes a sigh of relief now that it's over. So she thinks...
