Friends since fillyhood, Applejack and Coloratura share a relationship deeper and more special than most ponies will ever know.

But Rarity and Applejack were fillyhood friends too. Shouldn't that be just as special?

Chrysalis, the Changeling Queen, has taken her prize, unhindered by Equestria's precious heroes. Celestia is little more than another prisoner of war now. The Bearers of the Elements of Harmony are lost, and the Elements themselves have turned away from Equestria's plight. As the world they once knew begins to crumble, a single question is asked among the people as they look up at their fallen heroes.

There is no such thing as "miserably ever after," for someone will always be fighting for things to change. Hope doesn't die just because someone's turned off the lights. Truth doesn't vanish when deceit begins its reign, and Harmony can only shine brighter among chaos.
Even as this world falls, we'll work to build it up again.
Even as you lose yourself, you can find greater things within you.
Even as fear rises up like a tidal wave, we'll forge a sanctuary to stand against it.
Even as you break, someone will always be standing there next to you to carry you through it.

This story is a sequel to My Little Pony Rangers: Enter the Nightmare

It's been three months since the defeat of Nightmare Moon at the Grand Galloping Gala, and not much has changed. The Rangers have pretty much had the summer off (with the exception of a few random but small Putty attacks) and the Cutie Mark Crusaders have spent the whole time at summer camp. However, unbeknownst to the ponies, Nightmare's minions have a new plan in motion, and this plan could spell the destruction of Equestria.

More action, new Rangers, and very much more comedy and stuff like that. (Also some darkness later on.) Welcome to the long-awaited season 2 of My Little Pony Rangers.

After his parents are killed in a war, a young prince is torn away from his new home and newfound lover to be trained in the art of war. Now Twelve hundred years later the prince, now a dark warrior, emerges from the shadows and terrifies Equestria looking for answers. As he does he runs into Celestia once again. For Glaciem...could this be the road to redemption? or was this all planned? planned by an evil that nopony has heard from in four mellenia? The very reason for the three pony races splitting apart after the fall of the Alicorn race? could Glaciem be a sign that the four horses of despair are about to run free across the mortal world again?

For Celestia it will be a struggle to return her friend and lover back to the ways of justice and harmony, can she do it before he loses his soul to the darkness and pay the price at the power of the elements? and more importantly figure out who is behind Glaciem's corruption and kidnapping and stop them before it is to late?

Twilight Sparkle and her friends are going to stop Nightmare Moon. They face her and the Mare of the Night explains to Twilight many things previously unknown to her about her mentor and friends. Why does she keep sending them? Why do her friends follow her around? After the encounter, Twilight's view on the Solar princess and her friends change. For the worse.

Rainbow Dash's dad, Blue Streak, has been lonely and sad ever since Firefly passed away. Rainbow has tried her best to cheer him up, but to no avail. On her latest visit, she finds out that her dad has been seeing someone and is now happier than ever. She couldn't be happier for him, until she found out who it was.

You are having a great day while your parents are away on a 'business trip' and your siblings are away at 'summer camp'. You are home alone when you receive a unmarked package at your door step...

Celestia wants Twilight and her friends to loosen up a little bit around her. Luna just wants to try the hard cider. During a surprise visit to Sweet Apple Acres at the tail end of cider season, Princess Luna has just a bit too much to drink, and when she makes a rather inappropriate joke, Twilight comes to the very uncomfortable realization that she has never seen Celestia excuse herself to use the restroom.
