Everypony knows the Hearth’s Warming Eve tale of tribal unity and the shared rule which followed. Everypony also knows that alicorns - singular or dual - have sat on Equestria’s throne for well over a thousand years.

Very few have really looked in to what actually happened between those points.

Even Twilight Sparkle, until a chance encounter leads her to an alarming discovery: Neither she, nor any other alicorn, has actually held any legal right to Equestria’s throne. They are technically usurpers, autocrats - even tyrants.

Still struggling with her own personal rule, having the fundamental basis for her authority swept from beneath her leaves Twilight with one simple, yet impossible question: 

Now what?

Chaotic Harmony, Book 1

Official remake of my first big series "I Left My World for Ponies?!". While there will be similar plot points, this will be a fresh take on the original story after my years of growing as a reader and a writer.

What’s that? He’s bored? That simply will not do! Time to go visit Twilight, where nothing bad every happens and spells definitely absolutely never go wrong!

Rainbow Dash finds... something on her early morning flight over the Everfree Forest. She's not exactly sure what this something is, but she sure will make sure to not only keep him safe, but also away from anypony! She doesn't need the whole town freaking out about him!

After all, who would believe her story that a deformed ghost was wanting to burn down the whole Everfree Forest as retribution?

Crotch sniffing has become a problem in Ponyville lately, with the arrival of Equestria's only human, such a problem that mares charged with it are sentenced to Crotch Sniffers Anonymous in the hopes they may change. Rarity, there for her first offense, meets a Ms. Mare.

This story is written for the crotch sniffing thread in /mlp/.

On a day like any other, Anon finds a strange mare in his garden. He barely gets a word in before she runs away.

He hopes she comes back.

All at once, I lost everything in my life, and was swept away to a new world in the body of this small... horse... thing. What now? Will I be able to find new meaning in this new world? Will I be able to get over the loss I've experienced? Will I ever confront that deep dark secret that I keep even from myself?

...and will I ever get used to not having hands?

Wooo my first fic ever! Always been a big fan of HiE fics so decided to give it a shot myself. Hopefully it isn't too depressing at the start, I have some cute ideas for some wholesome moments later on.

Anon awakes in a blizzard in Ponyville, vaguely remembering a past life. Anon tries to reconcile his understandings with an enigmatic new world, and Twilight tries to understand her. During this, Anon is given the opportunity to venture to Canterlot under Celestia's offer, and prepares.

"Why does Celestia raise the sun? How can she move something so huge every single day?" Two simple, innocent questions. Yet the answer may be too much for Anon's mortal mind. A truth so great it could crush his very grip on reality.

Or maybe it doesn't even matter.

Since time immemorial, the Horn of Celestia has stood above the ancient northern glaciers. It is older than the Empire, older than Equestria itself. The tower carries many ancient legends, but the most credible is this: that during the time of strife, ponies sacrificed their greatest powers to come together into a single kingdom, committed to peace and friendship forevermore.

Lyra Heartstrings is convinced there is more to this story, and after years of preparation, she has arrived at the tower with an expedition of friends and fellow experts to discover the truth for herself. One way or another, she will discover the secrets concealed in the ancient horn, even if it costs her everything.

This story was written on my Patreon as a commission for HMage, but was one of the earliest casualties of the pandemic. As a result, only part 1 of 2 was written. There are roughly eleven chapters taking us to what was meant to be the halfway point of the story. At least for now, the story will end there--not as a painful cliffhanger, but before our heroes transition to the next phase of their adventure.

The story is now continuing again on a monthly basis.
