These people are deathly pale, their eyes are red, and their teeth look creepily sharp. They say that they're looking to open up a new club in town: The Bat Barrow. Only problem is that this new club may invite trouble.

Sonata Dusk and Shade Midnight were the best of friends. They were inseparable after all he did for Sonata after her screwups at the Battle of the Bands. But lately. Sonata had felt different around Shade. She had developed a bit of a crush on her best friend. So, when Shade asks her out to dinner, she wonders if this will be more than just dinner with a friend, and is scared to tell him how she truly feels. Unknown to Sonata, however, is that Shade feels the same way about her! Will these two tell their stories, or will they forever remain silent?

During a science field trip to the high-tech research labs of Shadow Industries, Flash Sentry and Twilight Sparkle are both bitten by radioactive spiders. As they begin to exhibit heightened agility, strength, and web-slinging abilities, the two students realize that their lives are about to change forever.

One year and four months ago, before A-Day Flash and the Rainbows, we're going to the Avengers Tower that was built in Canterlot City. Everything was going great until the city was attacked, and the R.F.E. in the tower's reactor exploded and causing a mountain to erupt, and strange crystals combined with a weird mist started giving people, young and old, superpowers, same for Flash. Now the world is under the control of Tirek and his T.U.A.S. company, which he took from Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D., and has started hunting for Superhumans. Flash and the girls must join the rebels and bring the Avengers back to save not only the Superhumans but the world as well, and Flash must uncover the secrets of his powers and stop Tirek before all is lost.

To make matters worse, Peter awakens the next day to find most of his friends have forgotten him, and Nick Fury, confused at his lack of knowledge of Spider-Man, sends SHIELD and various heroes to apprehend the vigilante. Meanwhile, Trixie must team with both Sunsets to find out why it feels as if a piece of her heart is missing and learn why a mysterious student seems to be involved.

But as that dark force grows near, she is forced to rely on that strange group, uncover the mystery, and save the school before that dark force is unleashed.
