Human-to-pony story, but not really? It's technically that but it's like the ship paradox all over again. Is it really still human if it barely remembers it's a human?

Synopsis:

Screwball awakens much, much earlier than canon. She gets thrown smack dab in the middle of the S2 premier and watched in a haze as her ""Dad"" gets turned into a very heavy paperweight.

After the sealing of Discord, chaos finally gets booted out of Equestria! Well, the ponies thought so. In reality all of the chaos that Discord unleashed gets push inside of Screwball's tiny body- wait that sounded so wrong.

Anyways, she gets slightly mad with the sudden influx of chaos magic and goes absolutely nuts cracking insane! Fun!

Thankfully, she hasn't completely lost her sanity and slowly pieces it back together while also trying to not cause a grandiose spectacle. Can she do it though? Find out next time on

David had a decent run of things in Equestria for a while now... A house, decent job doing silly little precision tasks that took the average pony waaay longer to do in exchange for some bits... Semi-frequent home-invasions...

Waking up to his- very dead- phone blowing up, and a Princess knocking on his door, out of breath and desperate, he has to figure out exactly why she's shown up.

Or more accurately- why she's now chasing him. Preferably after he's booked it, and no longer feels a mortal fear from the sheer insanity that was on his phone.

Such is life for human David.

I had the inspiration to write this just by seeing the image (and wanting to make myself write more/post more) and originally it was going to be an Anon- but then I had a funny idea.
I gave myself Edgerunners PTSD. And I couldn't fit the joke in well. It was not worth it.
... At least I got more third person practice!

With Maud settling down in Ponyville, Marble studying in the Crystal Empire, and her parents finally deciding to retire, Pinkie Pie wonders if Limestone is going to be okay running the Pie Family Farm all by herself. She's never done well on her own, and her cold demeanor probably isn't going to get her a boyfriend anytime soon.

Luckily, she knows an equally lonely human who is perfect for the job!

My day was finally going so well. Spent time in the city, got the Pokéball Plus so I can get Mew in my new Pokemon Shield and a Nintendo Switch, which I got far cheaper than normal thanks to the Black Friday sales yesterday and was looking forward to getting home and putting Mew into the game.

Everything was finally going smoothly... until some asshole tries to rob me, I trip defending myself, only to somehow find myself in Equestria as the character Dora the God Damn Explorer.

How I'm supposed to get home or do anything now I'm stuck like this is beyond my understanding and this Equestria's timeline is not like what I know of the show.

For the record, this is NOT a Displaced fic, so if you don't like those, don't worry.

Note: I have added translations to things spoken in Spanish in the author's notes of each chapter. However, i did not do so for Spanish sentences that get repeated in English within the chapter the sentence appears in itself as that would be a bit redundant. I also will not repeat translations in further author's note after they've already been translated as, if you follow the story, I'm going to assume you've read the ones in previous notes enough to not warrant another translation.

As for the obviously edited cover art, it's from the thumbnail of this weird video Nickelodeon Dora the Explorer Save MLP Frozen Elsa Anna Disney Princesses Storytime Adventure as it was the only reasonably good MLP/Dora image I could find and I think it serves it's purpose enough.

If someone wants to make a better thumbnail for the story, I'd be happy to use it and would indeed credit you, though I doubt anyone will want to waste their time on that and I honestly wouldn't want them to waste their time on it anyway.

I couldn't pay them, so it would literally just be one of those "paid with exposure" situations and I'm not someone who does that bullshit.

Aurora is a unicorn filly with the mind of a human, however, the said human does not remember much from his old life on earth, just bits and pieces.

Being born in Canterlot to a unicorn family she quickly discovers that her unusual dark coloration makes most if not all ponies wary of her, and her social life confusing and full of different emotions. As she grows and develops, she sees the world differently than most ponies, making her curious and adventurous. And that leads to... Complications down the road. Especially when the Magic Of Friendship develops in Equestria at the same time.

If that's not making it difficult to adapt to her new environment and body, a certain white alicorn makes Aurora hooves full of mysteries and plots to solve, making it difficult to learn magic and have a life of a simple filly at the same time.
