There's a story behind every Magic card, and when you smash them together, you get even more ponies than you can normally find. Set throughout Equestrian probability space, each of these stories was inspired by two cards chosen through Gatherer's Random Card function. Characters and genres will vary as a result. Knowledge of card games isn't necessary for most chapters; the table of contents will call out the full crossovers.

This is a not-at-all-carefully curated of throwaway words that were written for no singular reason other than to clear up and sort out the constant fuzzball of ideas in my head, so as to keep it level when working on the rest of my stuff. Updates casually come and go.

If you are unsure of why this is, go ahead and have RoboFoME generate a few cards – even if you don’t play or understand Magic – and you’ll see exactly why. This is half experiment and half I-want-something-that-I-can-write-whenever. I make no guarantees on story length.

A magical accident at a castle garden party leaves Fancy Pants, Rarity and Fluttershy apparently separated from their friends and stranded in the middle of... somewhere. Their initial concern gives way to cautious optimism when they find they're still in Equestria. But it's not quite the Equestria they were expecting...
