Rainbow Dash is on her death bed after a horrific accident takes place. The dying Pegasus calls upon two friends, Pinkie Pie and Gilda the Griffon, to keep her company in her final days.

Begrudgingly, the two enemies work through their differences in order to fulfill Rainbow Dash's last wishes: for them to be friends. Will Gilda and Pinkie be able to set their differences aside? Or will their grudges hold strong, even when their best friend is watching?

This story is a sequel to Flying Sky-High

So much has happened in the past year. Friends have been made, battles have been fought, and love has bloomed. Now at long last, Rainbow Dash has the chance of a lifetime: a chance to become a Wonderbolt and instantly be part of an elite squad. However, one of the key judges for the tryout is none other than her love: Soarin. He is bound by his profession to be fair and honest in his selection. Will their relationship give Dash an edge in the tryouts? Or will it strike her down before she even gets there?

Also what of the dark magic within Soarin? He's kept quiet about it for a while, but not all is as well as he lets on.

And what of the Shadowbolts? They scattered after the battle with Nightshade. Surely they didn't just disappear.

A story of remaining strong in the face of harsh challenges. Life and love can be tough, but strong hearts always find a way to prevail.

This Fic's length is a bit intimidating, but it is broken into four parts, each of which could be considered their own stories with clear beginnings and conclusions. I decided to keep it all together because it was how my outline was structured (aka i completely underestimated the length).

So after a few strange beings ended up in Equestria, and she got to know Shadow - the serene and lonely Hedgehog - she immediately began trying to make him happy. But so far, it hasn't been working. She's tried everything, but he just doesn't seem to be a sociable guy.

She has already learnt her lesson, thanks to Cranky Doodle. She can't just pester Shadow in an attempt to make him crack a grin. Instead, she has to find out what had turned him into such an introvert. So she decides to throw him a huge, blowout surprise party for him on Hearts and Hooves day.

But she has barely scratched the surface of Shadow's dark history. Little does she know of the things in store for her that particular Hearts and Hooves.

It's not easy being a child living with the knowledge that your mommy is never going to get to watch you grow up. But this was a young Rainbow Dash's reality. Despite her mother's cancer, Dash's family had still been a very happy trio of ponies. But all fairytales must end.

Rainbow Dash's father has come to terms with the approaching departure of the mare whom he called his 'angel'. When the time had finally come for her to say goodbye, would Rainbow Dash be able to accept that her mother will die?

"Mommy's going back to Heaven." It was such a comforting thought to Dash, but she didn't want her mother to go.

(Side-story to What's Really the Most Important, to shed light on what happened to Rainbow's mother. This is technically a prequel, since it takes place a good... 18 years beforehand!

Despite what many may think, Rainbow Dash isn't fearless. There is one thing that keeps her at bay, that she will fight to protect: her reputation.

So, what happens when that reputation comes in contact with danger? Hilarity, tears, and mass panic, that's what.

Rainbow Dash has been acting very... strange lately. She's been spending more time alone, tuning out more, avoiding eye contact, and letting flushes frequently rise to her face.

Twilight, Pinkie, Applejack, Rarity, and Fluttershy are curious about Rainbow's new traits, and want to find out what the mare's hiding.

Applejack's mother was a Manehattan pony who fell in love with Sweet Apple Acres and the farmer who lived there. The gold necklace he gave her wasn't expensive or flashy, but she loved it anyway. Now that Applejack is ready to propose to Twilight with the same necklace, she hopes it really is fit for a princess.

Rainbow Dash had another day of training at the Wonderbolts. Everything turned out to be fine until she received a letter that turned her own world out. Now, in a state of restlessness and depression, Rainbow Dash hid herself away from every other pony as she tried to contain her sorrow. In her lowest point, Soarin' dropped by and offered her something that she could not refuse: A Midnight Flight. SoarinDash one-shot and a hurt/comfort fic in one.

Rainbow Dash talks about how she and Tank stood up to a crazed pony who was bent on stopping winter. For the sake of all of Ponyville, the two friends infiltrate the Cloudsdale factory, braving the new security and unknown danger from an intruder.
What? No, this totally happened. Rainbow Dash said so.
