The Legions of Hell are on the run, and Doomguy has finally found the portal that might lead him home. Emphasis on Might. For all he know's the portal could throw him right back into Hell.

Deciding to give it a go, Doomguy steps through the gate and finds himself in a place far more terrifying than Hell had ever been...Ponyville, Equestria. Worse off, the technicolor ponies who live there won't leave him alone!

Will Doomguy survive to kick-ass another day?

While pursuing a splinter of Hive Fleet Behemoth, Captain Sicarius and the Ultramarines 2nd company are caught in a warp storm that carries them and their prey to an unknown planet. Meanwhile, Princess Luna notices something strange in space that could spell danger for all of Equestria. Swept up in a war between the terrifying Tyranid swarm and the vengeful Ultramarines, the ponies must fight for their lives in a war that spans a galaxy.

Tartarus: the fabled prison said to hold all of the demons of Equus at bay.

Few truly know what lies behind the impenetrable doors Cerberus guards. Some say that it is a pit, infinite in it's depth and darkness, from which there is no return. Other claim it to be a hellish plain, filled with fire and pain and suffering, to punish the demons for their sins.

All of them are wrong.

Tartarus is small. An inescapable cell for a single prisoner. But the tales about it's purpose are not false.

For this captive human holds the key to unleashing upon Equestria forces which have not been seen for centuries, forces which predate Equestria by many an age.

And soon, he shall be free.

Society sometimes sees soldiers as gunmen who sometimes can't control themselves while some believe that they are too prone to violence. They also assume that soldiers are not intelligent enough to make any rational thoughts. Are they really like this? What happens if Equestria comes in contact with a wise soldier that prefers the peaceful way out?

This is my take on a realistic version of a soldier appearing in Equestria.

The year is 2557 AD. Four years, seven months and ten days have passed since the activation of Installation 04B and the annihilation of the Flood. While humanity and the Covenant have struck a truce for the time being, and started to rebuild their civilizations, Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan John-117 has been in cryo-sleep, adrift, while his ancillary AI, Cortana, has been trapped in her own thoughts. She had been looking for a reason -- any reason -- to wake the SPARTAN up. Now she had one.

They were crashing.

In it's most recent years, the Kingdom of Equestria has found itself fallen victim to a staggering number of potentially world-ending threats. By chance and the power of friendship however, all of them have been defeated and eliminated before they could topple the Ponies' diarchy, thus preventing the ending of the era of peace.

They've overcome a powerful, chaotic spirit; the wraith of an ancient, evil king; the might of an entire invasion from an army of shapeshifters; and the hellish fury of a demonic lord. However, nothing could prepare them for their newest threat.

Can harmony and friendship defeat the most feared being in the galaxy?

The Death Korps of Krieg, seeking atonement from their government's betrayal decades ago, they give their lives willingly in the everlasting fight against the enemies of the Imperium of Man. Averted by even their fellow Guard regiments, they show a high degree of fatalism and an unusual morbidity of habit. Yet they are highly disciplined, morally reliable and self-sufficient soldiers.

The 42nd Siege Regiment had been deployed on Kheltan III to reclaim a supply route that had been attacked by the Eldar. A simple enough task for the stoic men of Krieg. But an ion storm attack and an innocent experiment by an alicorn from another world can make even the easiest of tasks much more difficult.

A loyal Conscript’s duty is to die for the Motherland, a convicted Flak trooper’s duty is to lay waste to enemy armor. But they are similar as they are merely the beginning of a regular Soviet armored column’s advance, and alas they serve nothing more than just cannon fodder, people swept away in the misery of the War of the Three Powers.

But two soldiers of these very roles beg to differ, as they awaken in post-apocalyptic Equestria, a world worse to wear than their own. Their purpose is unknown and with no clear objective in sight or mind, the only thing to do is to survive.
