Rainbow Dash does not have a crush on Soarin'. Sure, she thinks he's a pretty cool stallion, being a Wonderbolt and being an awesome flyer and all. Sure, maybe she catches herself admiring those powerful wings of his and maybe even imagining what it'd feel like to have them rub against her own. Sure, she can't help but try to take a peek at that toned, muscular flank of his, but come on, who hasn't? That doesn't mean she has a crush on the guy.

Rainbow's going to have a harder time deny all that now that she's gone and declared that she can make a pie better tasting than Applejack's, knowing perfectly well of Soarin's love for pie. The fastest way to a stallion's heart is through his stomach, after all. Too bad Rainbow Dash's awesomeness doesn't apply to the kitchen.

With only a week before the big bake sale, Rainbow Dash must learn all she can from an unexpected source. Can Spike help her impress her not-crush, or will the two of them discover something else on their journey to make the perfect pie?

Discord has become worse than bad.

Worse than evil.

He became an idiot.

When Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash make a 'stupid cupcake' which makes the consumer an idiot for a day, they decide to give it to Discord, just for a laugh.

But the effect does not wear off.

Discord is dumb for life.

It's a scene Spike's seen many times in his fantasies, in his dreams. All their friends and family in dresses and suits, flowers everywhere, and a little white woven arch at the end of a long aisle. And at the end of that long aisle stands a beautiful bride in white.

It's Rarity's wedding day, perhaps the happiest day of her entire life. The least Spike can do is be happy for her. That's what a good friend would do, right?
