Mostly I’m just sorry for being me. I tried to be good and fit in with everypony else, I even tried to be patient but I guess y’all didn’t see much of that.

It was a nice, peaceful day for Twilight Sparkle. No three headed dogs running amuck. No Rivals out to prove their superiority. Nothing to stress or worry about. Just her and a nice book.
Then a random pony walks in off the street, breaks a couple of her vases, steals a few of her books, and has the gall to ask "Do you know where the boss monster is?"
Then top it off with the fact that the pony just DISSAPEARED right in front of her.
Why couldn't she just have a nice day off?

Twilight Sparkle has done it. After ten long years of fighting, she has taken over Equestria as its new princess. While there is much to heal, much to change, and much to do in order to bring about the new Equestria she has envisioned for so long, she must deal with the hardest thing she has ever done. Judging the friends and loved ones she had to fight. Will they submit to her, help her crate the new world for all beings? Or will they take the hangman’s noose?

Not long after winning the honor of carrying the Ponyville flag for the Equestria Games, Scootaloo finds herself struggling with schoolwork, friendships, and of course, her inability to fly. While working on an assignment for school, she discovers the existence of a group of powerful psychics that Equestrian royalty consult for many things - including helping parents choose a name for their newborn foals.

Curious, Scootaloo pleads for Princess Twilight Sparkle to meet them and ask the one question that she direly wants to know - "Will I ever be able to fly?"

Despite Princess Celestia's warning, Twilight meets with them - but is the truth worth the price she may have to pay to herself and Scootaloo?

Story takes place after "Flight to the Finish," and then branches from there.
