Starlight isn't a child person. But Sunburst is.

She was not good enough for him.

That was the thought that stabbed through her mind as she watched Sunburst play with Flurry Heart, gently playing with the toddler in front of him, seeming enamored by him as they together danced around the Hearths Warming tree, the younger filly leading her husband around and pointing at the ornaments she put up.

Starlight was never like that with young kids.

Or what it means to be a parent.

It's a sunny afternoon, and all of the girls have managed to gather for a picnic on a hill.

Each has drifted in their own way; life has called them somewhere else.

Twilight Sparkle struggles to bring them back together: to make those giddy times return.

You have to learn how to say goodbye in life. Goodbye to friends and farewell to family.

But, sometimes, there's the odd few that will always be with you.

An idle mind is a dangerous thing, and Zipp Storm is a detective with no current cases. In the dog day doldrums of summer, suspicions sometimes see signs that aren't there.

Unless of course Zipp is right, and Pipp really is possessed by a ghostly diva from centuries past.

For nearly one thousand years, the ponies of Equestria had a legend. A legend of a creature who resided in the abandoned Castle of the Two Sisters. An immortal being, one who had near omnipotent powers, but who only appeared in the Castle and its grounds at night, unable to leave. Ponies were wary of the creature, who was only known by the name Djinn, a Saddle Arabian name for a creature who could grant wishes to anypony who was brave enough to approach. This Djinn was unlike any creature known to the world, mostly because nopony who’d ever ventured to the Castle to ask for a wish never could remember what it looked like.

After a death in Ponyville of one mare who attempted to have her wish granted, Princess Celestia herself intervenes and visits her old castle to meet with the Djinn in pony, but is confused by what she finds...

The concept behind this was pitched to me by yakopak.

With time ticking out, and no other options left to them, the rulers of Equestria turn to the lone human in Equestria to save them from Chrysalis' plot.

Warning, this story contains discussions of torture.

In less than an hour, Celestia will be executed for her crimes against humanity. Justice will finally be done for all those lost in the Conversion War.

But like all prisoners, she is entitled to have her last rites.

Anon fights for his sanity and slowly loses his will to live and go insane. Anon depressed and lonely decides his life is only as useful as a dead person in a hospital. The Main 6 with the Princess Luna realize Anon is trapped in his own mindscape being tormented for what Anon thinks is infinity.

You, the nameless faceless HiE reader, are Celestia's five-year-old adoptive daughter and it's New Year's Eve. You've always stayed up until midnight, at least, to welcome the new year. It's something of a tradition for you, and while it's great to be a child again, you come face to face with an age-old enemy: Bed Time. Through sheer will power, you will overcome the realities of your tiny body, or not. Your mom is pretty sharp, even in retirement.
