In this alternate take on the ending to Season 2, Chrysalis actually triumphs, defeating everypony and turning Princess Celestia into a Changeling. However, almost immediately, Chrysalis's plans begin to go awry. For Changelings feed on love. And who is more beloved in Equestria than Princess Celestia?

As Twilight deals with life as the head of a nation and the responsibility that comes with it , she must also deal with her secret relationship with a certain moon goddess. As they face various issues from the get go. Including intense media and public scrutiny, a commitment to her friends and family, the complexities of the Equestrian political system and Luna's struggle to find peace with herself and her faults.

With a political crisis brewing on the horizon, Twilight must come to terms with her position quickly while also coming facing a daunting task in the form of reconciling Luna and Celestia's damaged sisterly relationship. In the end she'll learn that being royalty isn't all what it is cut out to be.

I highly recommend reading the first story. It's not completely necessary but it will be easier to follow the plot.

Sequel to Learning curve

My second attempt at romance with Twilight and Luna. Starts off as fluff in the begining but develops a political side story as the chapters go by. The story mainly focuses on Twilight and Luna and the issues they deal with after Season 3. Written before season 4 so it may not conform fully to canon. May fix this in a later rewrite. Criticism is once again welcomed.

Sunset Shimmer, has finally decided to return to Equestria to right all the wrongs that she has done on both sides of the crystal mirror. She is even ready to face whatever punishment Celestia sees fit, no matter how great it is.

Imagine her surprise when she is forgiven AND given another chance to be Celestia's student again.

As she makes amends and hoofs out apologies, she will also make some friends with both old and new faces, including Celestia's adopted son, Lockon Astros.

And little does she realize that, fate has plans for her once again. But this time, she will earn more than just the redemption that she seeks.

Layda Hitcher is a twenty-two year old woman that has had quite a calm and quiet life. She had great parents, did well in school, heck, she even had relationships, but this all started to bore her. You can't be an Average Joe forever, right? As she sleeps in her parents' house as a temporary solution until she can finally go to her small little cottage-like house, she is awoken to see herself in an artist's rendition of autumn. Beautiful giant trees with magnificent colored leaves flowing everywhere, and verdoyant grass shining with the lively sun in the sky, occasionally being blocked by the silvery clouds. What will happen when a creature proposes a small adventure for her, with the only cost of taking said creature's form in this "other world"?

On a whim, he decides to alter the genetic structure of certain equines, giving them additional sentience and sapience so he may have conversations with the new ponies.

One must always be careful of what one does, as certain unforeseen consequences arise from his attempts to play God.

Niamh, an introverted student of veterinary science, finds herself transported to a strange world inhabited by ponies. Of course, that means becoming one herself. Now she must prove to the other ponies that she is not the 'Nightmare Moon' they think she is, and earn their trust, while they must earn hers. Especially this 'Princess Luna' character.

But two questions stand out above the rest as being truly important: How did she get there, and why?

Applejack has found her farm, but it's hardly the way she remembers it. The Apple family is struggling to get by, managed by a version of Rarity who isn't afraid to get her hooves dirty.

Rarity finds herself in high society with a most unexpected host, a prim and proper version of Applejack. Together, they must track down the only pony that can save Equestria, if she's even still alive.

Twilight Sparkle has set sail to the Aurora to find Celestia, the memories of an ancient tapestry flittering in the back of her mind and a sense of desperate urgency driving her.

A pony will face the ultimate test, a test she is doomed to fail, at great cost.

A young girl watched as the moon went into a total blood moon eclipse. It was so beautiful that she got light headed. When she woke up she was in the palace of the Royal Pony Sisters. Also, she was now a pony.

Rainbow Dash, best pony, fastest flier in Equestria, all around awesome mare, was called upon to help with the wedding of her friend's big brother. And hey, she never leaves her friends hanging!
