Princess Celestia has seen occasional visions of the future in her sleep, but none so vivid as the ones regarding purple spotted dragon egg. She saw the egg hatch, and the dragon within live and grow among ponies. What's more, Celestia saw key events of the future play out in the most favorable ways possible, all because of that one dragon: the discovery of the Bearer of the Element of Magic, the second defeat of Discord, the second and third defeats of Sombra, and the rise of two rulers who would become invaluable allies of Equestria.

Somewhere in the multiverse, there is a bar. It's small—the kind-of a hole-in-the wall place which you might find open late at night while walking down the streets of Canterlot City in the 1920's.

But unlike most bars, this one is not actually there… or rather, not where you think it is.

The entrance to Sunset's Isekai will be found in passing; an archway made of stone, emerging from a wall that you could have sworn had nothing there before, and in fact seems impossible to actually lead anywhere.

There, a door of solid oak—lovingly worked and stained to look almost golden-red—with a thick, crystal version of Sunset's cutie mark at eye level awaits visitors under the soft light of a gas lamp.

This door opens to all worlds, and can only be found by those that need that drink to be just the right type of different.

Note: This fic is best read like nursing your drink - Don't rush it. Enjoy each flavor for what it is. Don't mix it all up by reading it one chapter after the other in one sitting. It's intended to (mostly) work in a way that each chapter can be read without having to tackle through the rest of the story. Day in, Day out, getting mistaken for her, getting comments about it, being denied jobs because of it and a lot of accusations of being a Changeling. I hate it! I want it changed but nopony can change but there's one pony that probably can: the Princess herself.

I never asked for this look and I've had it since birth. But all I know right now is that if the Princess can't change it, nopony can.

During an attack on Ponyville in the middle of the Summer Sun Festival, Princess Twilight Sparkle evacuates the town by teleporting the entire population to safety in Manehattan. It turns out that her idea of safety needs some work. As well as her aim. And spelling.

Meanwhile, on a hot summer day outside of Manhattan, Kansas, Jonagold Bruener had a fairly successful life with few complications. Until while out mowing hay, he had a very strange visitor fall from the sky. And then another. And another. And another....
