This story is a sequel to Cheated Dreams

Six months after the debacle with the Wonderbolts, Rainbow Dash comes home from another tour with her flight squad in time for her marefiend's birthday.

However, Twilight gets more than just presents for her birthday, and the return of a problem they thought solved long ago is heralded by a mysterious package left on Twilight's doorstep.

Reading of Cheated Dreams is required for you to understand anything in this story. Teen rating is for implied sex and some more mature themes, especially down the line.

Rainbow Dash, quite possibly the coolest pony in Equestria, inexplicably falls for Twilight sparkle, quite possibly the nerdiest pony in Equestria. Out of curiousity and Rainbow's pleading, the librarian decides to give her two weeks to see what might happen. Both ponies will have to confront their insecurities if they hope to be a couple for very long.

After more than a year, this albatross has landed with the help of Cookie Monstar, Key Tapper, and Shadowsreached. This thing is FINALLY finished! What started as an experiment on writing a relationship changed dramatically. I can't tell you if it's better or worse though. That's for you to decide. Either way, I'm glad it's finally complete and I deeply apologize for taking so long to get it done.

Rainbow Dash walks through the deserted, snowed streets of Ponyville, looking for a place to get warm and finds herself at the door of the local library. Even in the coldest of winter days, warmth can be found, and, as she soon figures out, there are many ways to share your warmth with another.

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash create a plan in order to get their long-time crushes' attention, Rarity and Applejack, respectively, at a Pinkie Party, by pretending that they are together. This won't fail, or will it?

Applejack and Rainbow have been secretly dating behind their friends' backs for a couple of months. However over the course of time Rainbow has found the farmer constantly making excuses to avoid her, and it seems that she is too busy for anything. It's a peaceful day, Rainbow is just taking it easy, doing her job just like everypony else, when she gets word that Applejack wants to see her right away. Unfortunately the news is terrible... It turns out that the mare of Rainbow's dreams had been lying to her all along...

Everything seems like it is spiralling out of control for the poor peagsus, and she seeks refuge in the one friend that she knows that will help her in time of need. Will Rainbow be able to piece back the parts of her broken heart? Will the now destroyed friendship between Rainbow and Applejack, be able to go back to normal after what happens? Does Applejack deserve to be forgiven for what choices she has made?

They say when one door closes, that another one opens... But why must some doors cause so much pain and suffering when they close?
