Rarity had an awful morning, and couldn't shake the funk she fell in for most of the day. Then her good friend Applejack pops by to help cheer her up, unaware of the kind of day she'd been having up until then. Why? Because she always made time for Rarity.

Twilight decides that the best way for Applejack and Rarity to get along better is with the help of an old friend.

Applejack always believed the simple life she had is everything she wants. Rarity goes through life like it's an endless catwalk, where everyone has a story and someone is worth talking about. But then, a simple drive takes some slight detours as secrets are revealed in more ways than one. Putting into question if they're truly content with the life they have or if that desire for more can come in the unexpected of ways.

Everyone seems to be finding their one special person. Applejack knows she has fallen for the hard working, stubborn fashion girl. Both complete opposites, but some how perfect for each other. All they need is a little dance push into each others arms.

Summary and Rating
The story is set in the world of Equestria Girls, 20 years after graduating from High School. Trixie is struggling to make it as a stage performer and after a particularly bad gig she runs into Sunset and Twilight, who want to help her get on her feet again.

If it weren't for some bad blood and Equestrian Magic involved, it could have been a nice reunion of friends.

This story get's a teen rating for being emotionally challenging.

Having completed their very first friendship mission, Applejack and Rarity soon find out that they're stuck in Manehattan for the night.

Perhaps it could be that "friendship" wasn't what the map had in mind at all.
