Life as a goddess is no simple matter, as Luna has discovered during her first few years in Canterlot. With her waking hours dedicated to winning Equestria's trust, Luna finds little time to enjoy life. As Celestia begins to worry about her sister's near-fanatical devotion, she hatches a plan to give—and take—her time off.

Luna is going to learn what being a "little" sister means, whether she wants to or not.

Princess Celestia always thought she knew how her kingdom worked. The Unicorns used magic specialized to their jobs. Pegasi flew in the sky and handled the weather. And Earth ponies... Earth ponies... uhhmmm...

Princess Celestia realized this after Applejack came to speak with her about a tax unfair to Earth pony farmers. It was during their conversation that Celestia realized she needed help.
Huh, isn't that odd Princess Celestia has had to leave on emergency business, leaving Luna to raise and set the sun? And hey, is that a new pony living and working at Sweet Apple Acres? I think her name is Sunshine Meadow. Surely, it's just a coincidence. Surely.

A new threat is arising in Maretropolis.

The population of this massive landscape used to be 1,000,000 ponies. Over the past few months, that number has been reduced to 679,358. Meaning, a kidnapper is afoot.

It was also at the same time that, a number of laser-cannon satellites were hijacked by unknown forces and equipped with an archaic power.

As the danger worsens, and the kidnapping continues, the Power Ponies are called in to investigate the kidnappings and bring justice to the fiend. However, their opponent is not what they were expecting in the slightest...
