More of a character bio than real fanfiction, this entails Scootaloo's family and her life post-canon. Headcanons are brimming. This is an AU of mine that I coined as "Harmonyverse." I decided that I needed to jot down all my headcanons for the real characters, and a drabble spilled out. Take note that my version of Mane Allgood is named Westerly Winds (hc taken with permission from Lopoddity on DA).

It's been almost twenty years since Sunburst last spent the night at Starlight's home. Much has changed since then. If it weren't for her other friends finding a way for them to reconnect, Starlight might have truly lost her first friend. While she looks back fondly on their friendship as foals, Sunburst doesn't even seem to like talking about that time in their lives, much less revisiting it.

When Starlight approaches Sunburst the night before he returns to the Crystal Empire, she inadvertently discovers something about her old friend that might explain it all.

Inspired by a scene from Uncommon Bond. Story takes place towards the end of the episode.

Fluttershy has never been good at talking. which is unfortunate, because she has some very complicated things to say. Things about her feelings, and her relationships with other ponies and her... gender identity. It's not exactly easy to talk about no matter who you are. But she can do it, because she has to. Maybe it'll get easier to do the more she does it, right?

Scootaloo has been questioning their gender identity for months after a number of revealing incidents leave them confused and frustrated. After an enlightening conversation with Rainbow Dash, they finally understand who they are: Non-binary!

Scootaloo writes home to Princess Twilight from the Dragonlands, telling her why the filly that left Equestria will never return.

Carrot Cake wasn't too sure about this 'blind date' business, but with his love life staler than weeks old pastry, it couldn't hurt to try, could it? And with the whole point of a blind date being you didn't know the other pony, particularly their past, well, it gave him a better chance at love.
