Takes place in the middle of TD's Little Rarity. After TD and Rarity are captured by the government, the FBI transports them to a secure location. However, word gets out thanks to a news chopper that a magical pony might be on Earth, and the convoy is attacked and Rarity is taken.

And boy is TD pissed off about it.

Written because I had a dream like this, yes, with Rarity, and I woke up before I could see how it ended.

When the mane six go to see a Wonderbolt's show in Canterlot, Fluttershy decides to not go as crowds of that size make her too nervous. So, Princess Celestia decides to spend the day with her instead while her friends are away. The two decide to play a few simple games of chess to pass the time...

After a late night of studying, Twilight Sparkle finds herself desperately wishing she could just get some sleep. However, she has class that day and, being the student that she is, she's not about to miss it over something as unimportant as sleep! However, when she gets to her class she discovers that staying awake may be a bit harder than she thought...
Note: I was inspired to write this right after I fell asleep in a class where we were discussing Alice in Wonderland. Go figure.

A Diamond Dog king, feeling bold after gathering an army of 100,000 dogs, decides the best way to flex his new muscles would be to invade Equestria for past perceived slights. As such, he sends a letter to Princess Celestia with a declaration of war.

It goes about as well as you'd expect.

After the incident with the Mirror Pool, Pinkie Pie begins to realize just how close she came to losing everything and how the ramifications of the event manifested in more than just a ruined barn raising. She seeks the comforting help of one of her best friends, who is more than happy to help.

Cozy Glow loves games. She has as long as she can remember. The pony she plays with most often is her father. They play a lot of games together, but her favorite is chess. She's never beaten him, but she will someday, right?
