When Twilight and Applejack have a falling out over who can claim to have the best big brother, each will stop at nothing to prove theirs is better.

And their brothers will stop at nothing to make their sisters happy.

The Equestria Education Association requires all schools to adhere to a specific set of guidelines, and any school that fails to do so will be deemed unaccredited. Chancellor Neighsay has shut down only a hoofful of schools in the past, and his magical seals ensure that nopony can enter the school again.

Of course, powerful magic like that doesn't go unnoticed, especially to the Sorcerer Supreme. So when the seal around Twilight's School of Friendship is broken, the good Doctor decides to pay a visit to the magical land of Equestria.

Takes place during "School Daze - Part 2" .

Twilight Sparkle wanted nothing more than to see the Northern Stars on the Zeppelin Cruise with her family. But thanks to Iron Will, who was running the cruise, her dreams are smashed into pieces. Saddened by seeing Twilight's heart broken, her family does everything they can to try and console her.

When Big Mac's mother and father died, Mac was forced to drop out of school to take care of work on the farm. As such, he never got the chance to learn how to read. It had been a lifelong struggle for him, until accompanying Apple Bloom to Parent Teacher Night provided him an opportunity to learn. As Cherilee teaches Mac how to read the words on the page, he also learns how to read the words in his own heart. Mac never realized that being able to read would give him so much happiness, until he realizes that it's Cherilee he loves, not just the books. He realizes that anything is possible as long as you have the support of somepony who loves you.
