This story is a sidequel to Equestrian Rim

This story is a side story and a sequel, however, it is not necessary to read Equestrian Rim, however it is recommended.

Follow Gung Ho and Blitzkrieg as they protect Baltimare with all of their might. After all, with a Jaeger like Crimson Fall, they can beat back a hurricane.

An eight year war has been going on between the creatures of Equestria and huge monsters called Kaiju. To combat these monstrosities, the creatures banded together and let go of old rivalries and created monstrosities of their own; Jaegers.

When the war went sideways however, it's up to a has-been and a rookie to save the world.

March 11 2022: This will not be a direct copy and paste with names swapped around, nay, this is based on Pacific Rim but it will have my own ideas and twists besides the 'has-been and rookie part.'

March 28 2022: I wasn't inspired to continue this, but I'll post what I have cuz why not.

March 30 2022: I wasn't expecting such a good response, so I guess I'll continue. But don't expect it to come out so fast.

November 19 2022: Just a heads up for those who are curious, I'm not going to go back and fix mistakes. It shows how my writing has improved over time and hopefully makes it a more satisfying experience. At least, in my opinion.

Despite her lineage and ongoing best efforts, Flurry Heart has always struggled to make a romantic connection. When left to her own devices, she tends to over share and overwhelm prospective stallions with her desperation and foal-like quirkiness. Unable to find a true special somepony or take the Crystal Empire throne without getting married, her life as a princess is beginning to look bleak. But her hope is rekindled when she meets Equestria's only resident human who seems to share many of her bizarre proclivities.

Anon thought he had it made, that his years of looking after and helping Celestia with her day-to-day affairs on the throne were over - unfortunately for him, he was only partially correct. With nothing but time on her hands, and a burning desire to make herself useful, his oversized and overpowered Princess drags him along to pursue more pedestrian professions...

Damned if Anon knew why he was assigned a caretaker, considering he was a grown-ass man, but that's exactly what the Princesses had done after he arrived in Equestria. Aside from the deluded, motherly nut-job that looked after himself, his life was pretty normal. My attempt at a more serious 'Luna meets Neil Armstrong' storyline. What would really happen, both on the moon and on Earth? Inspired by 'The Eagle has Landed' by CyanBlackStone.

Princess Luna has found herself on a very different moon after some strange force interfered with her banishment. She doesn't know what the metal objects that keep orbiting and sometimes landing there are, but she wants to find out. Meanwhile, Neil Armstrong believes that being the first man on the moon will be the crowning achievement of his life. Hoo boy, is he ever in for a surprise.

A Notice of Hiatus

Jackson Brunner was walking home from work when he slipped and fell. He then awoke in a palace made of crystal that seemed to be long abandoned. Exploring these halls, Jack feels a strange sense of foreboding. Almost as if something horrible had happened here.

And that's not even the strangest thing about this situation.

No, things will only get stranger from here once the new owners of the palace show up.

Discord is a cocky, overbearing, goofy free spirit. Anon is a cocky, brutally honest, nonchalant free spirit. Both can be incredibly big douches when they want to be, but the girls still like them both even with their flaws.
But one day, Anon finally meets Discord. And he decides he doesn't like him.

Equestria is hosting the International Rodeo Games with Appleloosa as the hosting city. Many species from all over the world travel to the small town, some even as far as Foenum. All of it for the chance to win money, ribbons, and fame. While Applejack originally joins for the benefit of the Apple Family, her priorities quickly change.

A handsome, human cowboy named Clyde is introduced to her by Braeburn. The two get along well, and Applejack quickly is smitten by the upstanding, honest man. She plans on winning his affections with the hopes of taking him back as her husband. There's just one problem...

A cow named Arizona, Champion of the Prairie and one of the saviors of the Foenum, takes a strong liking to the same cowboy. She hopes to make her Ma and Pa proud taking back not just fame and money, but a husband to boot!

The two quickly catch onto each other's plans and try to undermine each other. Things quicky spiral out of control, and with neither backing down. They agree to a solution; a one-on-one fight, with the winner taking the man. Only question remains: Who will win? The Mare or the Heifer? And does the man get a say at all?!

T for fighting, possible swearing, non-consensual romantic pushiness, and mentions of interspecies love and pregnancy. No rape or clop will be shown, a simple girl vs girl fight over a guy.
