Just when she thought the situation couldn't get any worse, she is called upon to solve a problem of love. Discord and Sombra's love problem. They are severely lacking love. So what does this stressed mother do? She puts Discord and Sombra in charge of her child. Join her as she desperately attempts to hit all her metaphorical birds with just one stone.

Following directly after the events of the previous story, Sunset and Twilight talk with Shining Armor and Cadence in an attempt to figure out why Flurry Heart, up until this point a regular human baby girl, is now able to transform into a pony-human hybrid with alicorn powers added into the mix.

The possibilities will be explored. Fingers will be pointed. Theories will be made. Notes will be taken. But will the answer ever be discovered?

Having no idea how to handle babysitting Changelings, or Draconequus, she leaves Shining Armor to watch over the Crystal Empire and heads to Ponyville to ask six very important ponies what to do.

I mean, a spell that got divided between four can't be permanent, can it?

No important political meetings to attend? Check! No letters to answer? Check! A magical and child-safe gift for Flurry Heart that she's sure to love? Check!

Her schedule was clear. Shining and Cadence were off on vacation. She'd prepared all her materials. Twilight Sparkle was more than ready to spend a fun-filled weekend babysitting her favorite niece.

But she wasn't prepared for King Sombra's return. Nopony could prepare to be trapped with him inside a storybook of fairy tales.

And nopony's ever ready for an unhappy ending...
