Blazing Comet is your average earth pony. He works as a contractor delivery pony pulling carts teeming with various goods for numerous businesses He has even worked for the Celestial court on a few occasions moving armor and weapons to the various guard posts. Today offered one such contract under the Celestial Court but this one was different. The contract offers a lavish pay to offset the dangers of transporting a new but highly unstable material. Due to the value and countless applications of this material, it is expected that the convoy may be attacked during travel. To ensure the delivery is a success a large patrol is assigned to protect Comet as he transports the material to Canterlot for further research.

Not long after setting off the group is ambushed and Comet is severely injured during the attack.

Disclaimer: My first published story. Potentially erratic update pattern (though it is pretty much a life goal to be a hobbyist writer so at some point I will always return). Please leave comments on things I can improve on. I was not happy with the first chapter but, published it because I need to start somewhere. I am still developing a writing style and it will probably mean this story will suffer from growing pains as I work it out. Thank you for the chance!

Thanks to these above I was inspired to write my own story. I used them as a guideline to get a working solution to my own writing style. It may be reminiscent of one or all of them.

Warning: Please note this is one of my first stories. Admittedly, I don't think I am all that good at writing. I do plan on getting better and returning to this story when I can do it justice. For now however be aware that it is not all that great in its current state.

Bon Bon's voice is funny, and that's about all that anypony who meets her notices, as her marefriend Lyra soon steals the spotlight with her explosive personality, strange obsessions, and curious beliefs. And why not? Bon Bon is, after all, a perfectly ordinary, boring pony in every way but two: her voice, and the carefully kept secret that she isn't really a pony.

Armed with the Crown of Grover and Clover the Clever's Cloak, Gallus and Sandbar fight giant spiders to save their friends from danger.

Since Gallus moved back to Griffonstone after ending his career with the Royal Guard, he’s paved a decent life for himself. He’s been charged with spreading the message and lessons of friendship throughout the village, which usually amounts to beating the other griffons over the head with common sense. 

But one day, he snaps out of a haze. He realizes that griffons don't have as many problems with each other anymore, infrastructure is being built at an impossibly fast rate, and industry is flourishing on all sides.

And as good as that sounds, there's something malicious lurking behind this new age of prosperity.

Something bad is happening, and whatever it is, it’s affecting everyone else too. As Griffonstone grows, the other nations on the continent are getting worse, and it’s all connected.

Gallus, along with the rest of his old friends, are the only ones who can stop it, and considering that the last time they were all in the same place was three years ago, and it resulted in a bar fight and a lot of tears, none of them are in for a good time.

This story assumes that the epilogue at the end of the series takes place 10 years into the future.

That was a month ago; now over a hundred former humans have to make the best of their new lives as ponies. Alexis Kingston was a twenty two year old telemarketer, and rather surprised to find herself a pegasus and the head of the Humans in Equestria Club. She never wanted to be a hero, just keeping the new ponies sane would be challenge enough, but with the barrier holding reality together leaking yet more humans on a daily basis, ancient evils and modern technology probing for weaknesses and the end of two worlds looming, she may have to be.
