With each passing month, they go through the usual joys and struggles from starting their own family as they cherish what they have from their friends and family. But as his beautiful, blue angel goes through her pregnancy, Ford starts to receive terrible visions that may determine the ultimate outcome of Rainbow Dash's fate. Mustang has gone through many challenges in his previous adventure, but can he find a way to change her fate in time or will he have to accept the inevitable in the end? With their one-year anniversary coming up, Ford decides it's time to pop the question and ask Rainbow for her hoof in marriage. However, an unknown force of darkness rises from the shadowy depths of the earth and achieves his ultimate plan that can not only seal the fate of Equestria, but for the rest of the world as well.

Now, without the aid of the Princesses and the Elements of Harmony, it's up to Ford Mustang and his elderly dragon friend, Hindel, to set things right and stop this monstrous tyrant once and for all. But is Ford up to the daunting task at hand? What kind of allies will he run into along the way? And what is Hindel's connection with the vengeful pony from long ago? It was my birthday, something that I never expected to be special, until I wound up dead on that very same special day. Calling out from beyond the void that stands between life and death. I never expected to get an answer back. The next thing I know, I’m waking up as an overly pink little pony princess, with an identical twin standing over me with a sadistic grin!

Immediately, I fled. Becoming The Crystal Empire’s number one most wanted refugee. I was on the run, constantly enduring a stream of nagging from both Flurry Heart, Luna, and her alicorn mother Cadance to give in and become Flurry Heart’s sibling as if this was some sort of perfect little fantasy. Fighting for my next meal, evading guards, navigating my new mysterious alicorn magic that never seemed to work right… It took me to my wits’ end, and my hubris caught up with me in the end. Cadance is a super powerful pony, with an even stronger maternal instinct. Cadance was going to have a lot on her plate convincing me to trust her, or anypony, in this weird magical world.

But when it comes down to Cadance's word against mine? I never stood a chance, she wasn't going to give up on me, and she wouldn't take no for an answer.

[This is mostly a wholesome found family story at heart, there are a few adventure-y sections, but the story is meant to tug on your heartstrings and be emotional.]

[However, there are a few sections of this story where the protagonist grapples with feelings of: Depression, Anxiety, and Disassociation, if you've read anything with even a smidge of dark/angst you should be fine. Why? Because Kieran died in a rather traumatic way, and I won't sugarcoat the sort of feelings that invokes in him. The story is still rated E, for reference, if you aren't convinced by my own words.]

Cadance always wanted a sister. She just didn't expect it to involve so many angry cultists with plans to get rid of her. The young princess must face her dark reflection. Could only one of them escape? There were better solutions...

3/14/24 Still Alive Edition

There's only one pony in Ponyville that the Mane Six have never met. Pinkie Pie has never thrown him a party, Applejack has never sold him a mug of cider, and Twilight has never seen him check out any books. And as far as that unicorn, Lapis Print, is concerned, that's exactly how it should be.

Lapis can't risk them knowing where he lives, what he does for a living, or even what his name is - if he gets his way, the Mane Six won't even know he exists, and nopony in Ponyville will miss him once he's gone.

It should be a piece of cake - after all, it's not like the biggest magical power in Equestria is about making sure everypony looks out for each other, right?

Time flows differently, in the multitude of plains that make up the universe. Seconds here can be hours there... and hours here can be decades over there. There is, however, one universal constant among all time and space: Time never stops. Perhaps I counted on time as my ally when I cast that spell and dove into the past... if only I'd know just how cruel and unwavering it can really be.

Thirty years, I've tried... in most other worlds, it's probably been hundreds, but I've managed to keep track. Aurora is a unicorn filly with the mind of a human, however, the said human does not remember much from his old life on earth, just bits and pieces.

Being born in Canterlot to a unicorn family she quickly discovers that her unusual dark coloration makes most if not all ponies wary of her, and her social life confusing and full of different emotions. As she grows and develops, she sees the world differently than most ponies, making her curious and adventurous. And that leads to... Complications down the road. Especially when the Magic Of Friendship develops in Equestria at the same time.

If that's not making it difficult to adapt to her new environment and body, a certain white alicorn makes Aurora hooves full of mysteries and plots to solve, making it difficult to learn magic and have a life of a simple filly at the same time.
