Sunset is trying to come to terms with what she has done. She ends up dealing with guilt, depression, and trying to understand friendship. Can Vice Principal Luna, and the Mane 5 help Sunset with her feelings, bullying and life in general.

Celestia's personal student has a rather strange ability; at least once a week, she dreams of a quiet, somber wood. It has always been a peaceful place for her, a sleeping sanctuary for peace and reflection. Under this moon, however, the peace will be broken, for on this night something else stalks the silent trees with her, and it has a message that only she can deliver.

Late one night, Twilight Velvet wakes from a deep sleep. She can tell that something is coming--but, in a million years, she would never have expected the ghost from her past who comes knocking.

Part of the Celestia XVII Alt-Universe, in which alicorns are mortal. Familiarity with at least the broad outlines of that universe will help this story make a lot more sense.

Content Warning: Very mild language, and mentions of death. I feel it's mild enough to warrant the "Everyone" rating, though.

Princess Celestia tires of constantly being surrounded by decorum, deference, and formality, and decides to take a day off from being Princess. But visiting Ponyville incognito is harder than she expects. Will she be able to fit in and make friends without blowing her cover?

For the nocturne of the Royal Dream Service, the night is the time when their purpose as ponies is fulfilled. By traveling through the Dreamscape, they are capable of delivering dreams to sleeping ponies across the world.

Once each year, one deliverymare is chosen to carry a most important dream--tonight, that mare is Night Whisper. By all rights, it should be a delivery like any other.

A routine delivery. A dream identical to that of each past year, delivered to a mare who lived each day identically to the last.

But nothing can be called "normal" when flying to the Moon.

As darkness closes in, Sunset must find her light and guide her friends to defend their world against old rivals and legends best left forgotten, all while dealing with their ever-looming futures.

But when graduation comes, what will Sunset Shimmer do? For she is still a stranger in this world, with or without her friends, and the road before her guarantees nothing.

Of course, with the universe conspiring against her, it'll be a miracle if she even makes it that far...

Until all of the hatred in her heart is gone, Sunset is at the whim of her peers, unbeknownst to them of course. Can her new "friends" help her down the road to redemption?
