Apple Bloom has long been searching for her special talent alongside her closest friends, Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo. Each day brings a new adventure, and the restless fillies tackle every challenge with varying results, but to no avail. One day, however, Apple Bloom notices a connection between her two best friends which sparks new potential within her for a destiny she never saw coming.

The three fillies of our story are so desperate to get their Cutie Marks that they've formed the not-so-secret secret society, the Cutie Mark Crusaders. After having Crusaded around their hometown of Ponyville, they turn their sights to the wonders beyond (even if traveling by themselves gets them in trouble with their sisters).

But outside of their not-so-peaceful peaceful town, they find that not everything is as wonderful as it seems and they very well may be the only ones who can do something about it (along with help from a couple of new friends).

Follow the Cutie Mark Crusaders as they search for their special talents but end up finding more about themselves and each other than they ever imagined, in the exciting Adventures of the Cutie Mark Crusaders - Fillies on a Mission!

This, if you haven't noticed, is a long story. There is still much more to come as well. There are a lot of slice of life stuff at the start, but not all adventure stories start off with loud explosions and huge disasters; the girls have a long journey of discovery ahead of them and not all of it promises to be nice quiet little things. Also, the alternate tag is for the fact that they will get their cutie marks, eventually; and the crossover tag is in case some of the references I plan to do is too much for a 'normal' story.

Granny Smith has had an agreement with Filthy Rich for years, making sure that he gets the first 100 jars of zap apple jam every harvest. What her grandchildren don't know is why, or how come their grandmother has agreed to increase that amount this year at the risk of losing the farm. They find a photo of a zebra family that Granny Smith becomes defensive over hidden in the pages of a curious scrapbook they have never seen before. They discover that there is a link between their dear old grandmother and the Barnyard Bargains businesspony hidden among the old photos and clippings, along with the answers to questions they never dreamed they would ask. Just what secrets are hiding in Granny Smith's private scrapbook?

A Russian MVD Spetsnaz team is sent smashing into the ground after the Mil Mi-24 they were in was knocked out of the air. A short time later, the crew and passengers wake up to find themselves in the wreck of the helicopter - but nowhere near Moscow.

As they desperately attempt to find out where they are, they will discover that they are not alone: Other humans have also found themselves in similar situations. However, these disorganized forces may soon be fighting for their survival, against an enemy that they could never have planned for...

The original version of the story, as published 2013-2015, can be found here for those that want to read it as it was. Editing on the original story was done by The Rainbow Brony, and I am thankful for the time that he put into the story to make it better than it would have been otherwise.

(Warning: This is purely for fun) What is Sora had another reason for leaving the islands? What if he was from another world? Now at the end of his year's sleep due to Namine he remembers the reason and is heading to the stars for his friends and for his own desires, to see the world that he remembers, but just barely. A world where he wasn't human, but an animal. (Hence giving the reason why he was able to get the hang of his lion form so fast.)

An iron dragon from the Fairy Tail universe finds he has landed in Equestria.

Also, an orphaned colt runs away and finds a new friend.

This story is a sequel to Come with me, Luna

The Doctor, on the Master's half joking suggestion, takes Derpy as a companion in the TARDIS. He intends this as a relaxing break from his usual shenanigans, but he quickly finds himself trapped in an incomprehensibly large and complicated conflict millennia in the making. He has to escape, but how can do that when he has no idea who or what his enemy is, and the one who trapped him is himself?

Aside from knowing the TARDIS is a time machine, Doctor Who knowledge should not be necessary to understand the story, but you will get a lot more of the jokes.

The last thing Twilight remembers clearly is following the path through the Everfree home from Zecora's. Bits and pieces, like half-forgotten dreams appear and disappear as she tries to figure out what happened. A strange, cat-like monster with glowing eyes, being trapped in a glass cylinder, observed by strange cyclopean bipeds and a creature with four arms...

Very suddenly, she found herself in a round, metallic object of some sort, falling from the sky. After a rather rough impact, she looked out.

On a desert with no sun, three moons and a nebula.

Princess Twilight Sparkle is gone. Equestria was in danger of an invasion from another world, and she heroically entered the portal, closing it from the other side. Spike searched for her for years without success, but eventually he had to accept, dead or alive, she wasn't coming back. All the while Equestria was in danger with the Elements of Harmony missing. So Spike found himself a new purpose.

His intent? To locate someone suitable to be the next Element of Magic and the rest of the Elements of Harmony. To accomplish this, he attends the greatest gathering of magic wielders Equestria has ever known, which was Twilight's first and only major project as a princess: Twilight Sparkle's Institute for Magical Research.

Of course, moving to a new place alone is not easy, and being a scary dragon (even a pony sized one) makes it even harder. Spike has to handle hostile guards, frustrating coworkers, and a pompous prince he had never expected to deal with again.

A story about perseverance, purpose and love.
