Being distracted every once in a while never hurt anyone, an innocent trick a mind can pull to lull you into an alternate reality. However, perpetual forgetfulness can quickly become an overcasting issue, especially during what was supposed to be a fun outing turned somber due to a subconscious that keeps trying to seemingly destroy everything.

Though, even on our darkest nights, serendipity can still have a part to play in this mindless game we call life. A bright, flickering light to guide us on our absent-minded journey of finding love.

For some reason, Twilight and Rainbow Dash's friends think they're dating even if they show absolutely no signs of doing so! They were just really close friends...

Twilight's been having weird, unfamiliar urges ever since she became an alicorn. Like an intense desire to grow flowers, or the fact she can't stop chewing on her wings when she's distracted. As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

Originally this was supposed to be a birthday gift for Celysus, but I fell in love with the idea so it's gonna be a full fic now. You can't stop me.

Twilight has been in love with Rainbow Dash for quite some time now, and plans to tell her on their next trip: A resort to Mount Everhoof. The disaster that follows may force her to confess earlier than planned... or take that secret to the grave.

When the weight of time - both past and future - comes to bear, Twilight writes one, final letter. Seeking closure, she may just find something more.

This is a TwiDash story. Actually, the first story I've had any sort of shipping involved. I tried before with an earlier story, but writing those mushy-wushy scenes made me feel dirty. So I avoided it. Until now. I bit my lip and forced myself to write this, and I actually felt emotional writing this story. Does that mean I did a good job, or that it's currently four in the morning and I should really get some sleep? Dunno. You can be the judge, however.

I chose TwiDash because I think it's the best ship. Fight me.

Also, I don't hate Alicorn Twilight. I think it's cool. I just had an idea for a story that I thought, if done right, could be pretty emotional. I'm not against Alicorn Twilight.

Partly inspired by I’m not small, I’m aerodynamic! just because I absolutely adore the idea that Rainbow is super short. I’m going to add that to every story involving Rainbow from here on out.

After an argument with Rainbow Dash about the romance plot in the latest Daring Do issue, Twilight Sparkle constructs a machine that allows two ponies to enter a novel, in order to learn more about Rainbow's obsession with pairing Daring Do with her bookish sidekick Rosetta.

Soon, the two find themselves in a Daring Do adventure, with Rainbow taking the name part and Twilight playing Rosetta. As they deal with ancient jungle ruins, mythical artifacts and old adversaries, Twilight is starting to see the appeal of the pairing.

But after all, it is all just fiction, and what happens in a novel has little to do with the real world, right?

Twilight Sparkle has been imprisoned for the murder of King Sombra in retaliation to the murder of her own brother. Locked away in solitary confinement with no visitation for nearly half a year, Twilight begins to believe that she's all alone, that is until Rainbow Dash sneaks into her cell on Hearts and Hooves Day.

Based on real life events. Inspired by "Painkiller" as made famous by Three Days Grace, "Say it ain't so" as made famous by Weezer and "Behind Blue Eyes" as made famous by The Who. Dedicated to someone very special to me.

Story One of the upcoming Painkiller Series

Twilight has never been interested in romance, at least not for herself. But a rather flustered epiphany changes that and now she must try and work out what it is, exactly, that she feels for her athletic friend, Rainbow Dash. A friend she's convinced would never like her back in the same way.

It's going to take a bit of courage to measure the degree of her affections and to test the waters... but perhaps it'll be worth it.

Twilight was abandoned by her friends and even her teacher in favour of a pony they had just met; Princess Mi Amore Cadenza. After it was all over, they apologized, and Twilight said it was alright, but was it really? Could she really just forgive them so easily for flat out abandoning her and not even trying to find her when she went missing? Dash doesn't think so, and she's going to get the real story if it's the last thing she does, even if it means her own secret coming out.

Look, I'm gonna be honest; you know those really dumb, melodramatic soap operas? This is basically that. Call it a guilty pleasure of mine, but sometimes I like to indulge myself.
