Twilight's been having weird, unfamiliar urges ever since she became an alicorn. Like an intense desire to grow flowers, or the fact she can't stop chewing on her wings when she's distracted. As it turns out, you can't just suddenly inherit the magic of all three pony tribes without getting the instincts to match, and instincts can be a powerful thing. Doubly so when you're not used to them, and especially when they're telling you that your best friend with the gorgeous wings would make the perfect partner to share a nest with.

Wait, what was that last part?

Originally this was supposed to be a birthday gift for Celysus, but I fell in love with the idea so it's gonna be a full fic now. You can't stop me.

A non-canon story set in the world of "Journey with a Batpony" by Gulheru.

A group of Noctrali fall to arguing about what they should do as for the first time in nearly a thousand years an Equestrian, Princess Twilight Sparkle, is allowed to visit their sacred homeland. As they argue the merits of holding Twilight captive for the crimes of Equestrians a thousand years dead, they receive counsel from an unexpected source.

King Sombra has returned, and worse he was already in place when Shining Armor, Cadance, Twilight and their friends went to the Crystal Empire. Outnumbered, an enraged Celestia tries to find the calm necessary to command her forces and avenge Twilight Sparkle and her friends.

Ten years ago Twilight Sparkle became an alicorn. Shortly thereafter events proved to her that she needed a guard force to both protect and assist her in her struggles against Equestria's enemies. Despite her best efforts ponies occasionally fall in her service. The members of the Twilight Guard carry on, thanks to a good supply of hard cider, and the song in their hearts. This is the story of that song.

Once they were a young species, finding their place in a world still wild.

The Murgröna has reawakened by the strength and conviction of Danny. Reaching out for him, an exceedingly rare thing to happen to any creature other than changelinks, Danny found himself in a strange place indeed. The collective memories of all changelinks, past and present. And none other to greet him than the late changelink king, Mantodea himself.

Within this strange realm of knowledge both ancient and new, Danny will learn what it is to be a changelink; what they are, who they are, what they endured, how everything fell apart, and who was ultimately responsible for their downfall. Discovering the truth long lost to the passing of time through the eyes of those who lived it.

This fic is a side story of Guilt of a Phantom and contains the story left untold after the end of the chapter: A New Lease On Life. This is not a stand alone fic, but was meant to be a single chapter which became so much more; too much to remain as just a chapter.

It is strongly recommended to read Guilt of a Phantom and it's affiliated fics before this, because on its own it will not make much sense without the context provided in the main story.

Sunset Shimmer might as well be a black cat, with how much bad luck seems to follow her everywhere that involves magic. Yet ending up in a place other than Equestria and becoming a fugitive within 24 hours just has to be the icing on the cake.

Stranded on the Boiling Isles, Sunset takes refuge at a sentient house, where two witch sisters sharing a curse, a big-headed demon, and a human girl/witch in-training help her hone her rediscovered magic powers and get back home.

• Post-canon MLP/EqG, the girls are currently in their senior year and Princess Twilight has been ruling Equestria for about six moons (CHS started around the time Luz has been admitted into Hexside).
• Set sometime after the Season 1 finale of The Owl House and is an alternate take on the second season (while retaining as much canonical aspects as possible).
• Mild violence throughout the story, but most prominent in one single chapter, gore tag to be added later.

Sunset Shimmer has been attacked and lies comatose in the hospital. All evidence points to someone who has access to magic. Led by Rarity, the rest of Sunset's friends begin to search for who did it and why.

But the answers may not give them the comfort they seek. And unknown to them, Sunset is having struggles of her own.

Fluttershy and Twilight go in the forest to search for Angel when he disappears. Trying to get back to the cottage as fast as possible, the two find Angel, and two other strange creatures. Perhaps these strange creatures are tied to the item that Fluttershy found in the forest on her morning routine, or maybe just a new species awaiting to be cataloged.

When Sunset Shimmer wakes up in a strange forest she doesn't recognize after seeing another her at her new school Canterlot High and finds she is now a pony, she doesn't know what's going on.

what's more, when she eats some glowing fruit because she's starving, it takes a strange turn she could have never expected.

And scootaloo, after running away from the orphanage, gets a second shot at life.
