What happens to ponies when they die? Do they go to a good place? A bad one? Somewhere in between? Twilight hasn't been sure, but now that she's here... Well, she frankly still isn't sure.

Written for the Quills and Sofas "Coffee Shop AU" speedwriting contest. Published at the behest of Zontan. The author bears no ill will to any of the mentioned franchises and asserts they were merely the easiest ones to make horse puns out of.

This story is a sequel to Tomorrow Was Beautiful

Tomorrow terrified her, because she had no way of knowing what was going to happen.

But if Tinker was able to overcome that, maybe she could stop worrying.

She'd do anything to make that happen.

This is a sequel to my friend Flashgen's story, Tomorrow Was Beautiful and was submitted for, and eventually won, the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting Group's 3rd Expanding Universes Contest.

It should be noted, though this is a spoiler, that this story also expands on my story Onkalo which was itself a sequel to another Flashgen fic, Pneuma. Going into the fic knowing this will spoil some of the content, but will make a couple of details clearer. That said the fic is very much understandable without this. The choice whether to go in blind or not is left to the reader.

My name was Sparkler. I was a pony with dreams and goals and ambitions. What am I now? A pebble rattles at the other end of the alley and my head jerks upright. Nothing visible. But then they never are, are they? Not until it’s too late.

This was written as part of the third Quills and Sofas Extended Universe contest, wherein we write sequels to each others stories. This is technically a sequel to a story titled The Hunt by Otter, but it's unpublished and honestly you don't need to read the prequel to enjoy this story. It's also something of a spiritual sequel or AU to this old story of mine, My Little Sister. It's definitely not the path I'd want Sparkler and Dinky's lives to take, but this is definitely my versions of those characters in a dark AU.

Rainbow Dash was beautiful, the most beautiful pony to be born in a century — and so her fate was sealed. Beauty must be sacrificed, and so Rainbow Dash must die.

Winner of the 2023 EFNW Iron Author Contest. I think I beat out about 40 other writers, and it was hugely exciting to win. Hope you enjoy the read!

Prompts were: vibrant vestigial, vexing volcano, verdant vegetable. Pretty insane for prompts, but Xepher had to pronounce all the Aztec words in my story so I think we're even.

“Life eternal,” whispered the stallion. “Beauty unchanging. Just for you, Lady Fleur. Just for you.”

Fleur de Lis plucked the bottle from his hoof — using her magic, of course, lest his ugliness somehow sully the delicate white of her coat — and she downed it in one.

Winner of the QnS ‘Power of Three’ speedwrite.

Also an entry for Nailah's spook contest.

Lying on the floor of the missing Princess's ransacked room is an otherwise-unremarkable diary. Most of the pages have been torn out or rendered unreadable by debris and spilled ink, but a few are still legible.

In the middle of a city determined to bleed her dry, Apple Fritter is struggling to hold on to what little she has left. Then along came a debt collector named Strawberry Sunrise.

Winner of the Quills and Sofas Second Duos Contest, co-written with the brilliant Shaslan who also did the cover art!

Magister Twilight Sparkle, the most intelligent pony in Equestria, is also the most unspeakably bored. But a certain white-coated unicorn might be the perfect distraction.

Everyone always tells Twilight that the ones who love us never truly leave us.

But that's a lie. It's always been a lie.

Things that live must also die. It's simply the cycle of life, and that cycle doesn't care about love or the pain it causes.

Until one day, that cycle is broken by a forgotten figure from her past: a little tortoise who's not so little anymore.

This story is, first and foremost, a gift for the incomparable Mushroom, who clearly must be some sort of undiscovered species of fungus dog since we definitely don't deserve her. I have it on good authority that this story gave her Many Feelings, and I hope it gives them to you, too. :)

This also won first place in the of the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting '2021 Gift Fic Exchange' contest portion, which is neat.

Cover art commissioned from the lovely Shaslan!

This story is a sequel to Cutie Marks and Broken Wings

Learning how to fly had been the start of Tawny's life: a real one, not the shoebox-sized concrete cage her captor had neatly shoved her into as a filly. But the shoebox had been familiar, if claustrophobic, and safe—a known quantity of hoofsteps and ceiling cracks, unlike the outside world of Equestria.

Learning how to live was proving to be infinitely more complicated.

Fourth place in the of the Quills and Sofas Speedwriting 'Expanding Universes II' contest. Each entrant was tasked with expanding the universe established in another author's story—my prompt story was Holtinater's Cutie Marks and Broken Wings .

Cover art by a lovely unknown artist! If anyone knows the name of the artist in question, please let me know, I would love to credit them.
