I am Breaking Scoop, news editor for CNN (Canterlot News Network). Recently, I was afforded the great opportunity to interview Twilight Sparkle and her friends about their views on politics.
This group of national heroes has saved Equestria no less than half a dozen times, and includes not only a full-fledged Princess, but also the Hero of the Crystal Empire, a Wonderbolt, and arguably Equestria's most famous designer. Naturally, I was thrilled to have the chance to hear about their well-reasoned views on the issues that impact ponies' everyday lives.
Boy, was I surprised at what I found! These are their philosophies.

This is a sort of semi-dark satire about political roles. What would they look like in Equestria (there are a lot of political themes present in the show)!? Sure to be a treat for political junkies!

A forgotten manuscript reveals an odd journey purportedly undertaken by Lord Dunsany, a Promethean explorer of the Lands of Dream. While the manuscript has yet to be authenticated, its contents are interesting enough to merit my posting them here.

One dark and windy day, a cowgirl finds herself resting upon a ridge. But she has sins in her past, sins she'd like to forget. The town of Hollow Shades had been abandoned for a long, long time. With the recent defeat of the Pony of Shadows, Moondancer takes an interest in the place and manages to get Celestia to sponsor a trip there for her to try and acquire what's left of Hollow Shades' history.
Upon arrival, Moondancer thinks she's hit the jackpot early, and begins researching what she can from the scrolls and books left behind. Unfortunately, there's a sound on the wind, and she starts hearing things. Then, she starts seeing things.
Hollow Shades isn't abandoned, just filled with things that aren't ponies.

A stallion is out climbing the mountains north of the Crystal Empire. When the glacier he and his companion are on cracks, he finds himself trapped deep within an icy crevasse, where hunger, sleep deprivation, and the bitter cold wear on his body and mind.

There is a house unlike most.

A house that holds a curse few know even exists.

If four ponies enter within its walls, only three may leave.

That house is me. And today I want to pass on that curse.

This story is a sequel to The Legend of El Silbón

It is normal to celebrate your vacations by making a journey to a relaxing place, it's normal for couples to find relaxing places like the beach a good vacation site worth traveling to to celebrate their union.

As this couple of ponies travel through Equestria to reach their coastal destination, they commit the mistake of passing by a secluded town ruled by those who not even Celestia can fight against. Come and read how a poor couple accidentally commits the mistake of going where they shouldn't and met something that shouldn't have been met in the first place.

This story is a sequel to The Legend of the Hanged Pony

After finishing school in Canterlot, a group of students decides to go into Equestria's other coast, far from Princess Celestia and her gaze, to have a nice vacation on the beach. Little did they know that they would find some of Equestria's most dangerous ponies, this is the story of a pair of stallions who met a very nice mare.

A freelance horror writer by the penname of Orian Inkguard returns to his hometown of Seaward Shoals in hopes to find inspiration for his next story. However, when he gets to his decaying home, something of his past has come back to show a side of foalhood that he had overlooked.

Editorial, a journalist for The Manehattan Times is tasked to go to one of the most haunted places in Equestria. In particular, to investigate a bridge that connects Ponyville to Appaloosa. Over the Gastly Gorge, when the moon is absent and the sky is dark, the location is known as "The Bridge of No Return" because those who dare to cross it end up disappearing. Even if there wasn't a paranormal reason for the disappearances, the reporter is determined to find the real reason why.
